Attacking reinforcements are a must when it comes to Tottenham's next move in the transfer market.

The north London club have been incredibly active in the market for Roberto De Zerbi so far with six new additions coming in through the door.

Strengthening at the back with Martin Dubravka joining the goalkeeping department and Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke and Andy Robertson adding to the defensive options, Spurs have spent huge money to take their midfield to the next level with Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali signing on the dotted line.

It has been extremely quiet in the final third, however, with supporters hoping things will soon start to ramp up there as the 2026/27 season draws ever closer.

Goals proved to be a huge problem for Tottenham last term and a major reason for them enduring an almighty relegation scare.

De Zerbi will be doing everything in his power to drag Tottenham up the league table this campaign, with goals and new attacking options a must if that is to be the case.

Kolo Muani return

Tottenham have made an offer to re-sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Randal Kolo Muani, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.

The French international spent the 2025/26 season on loan in N17 but he failed to hit the heights under three different managers.

After previously excelling for Nantes and Eintracht Frankfurt prior to his move to Paris Saint-Germain, Kolo Muani, who enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with Juventus in the second half of the 2024/25 season, only managed five goals in 41 appearances in a Tottenham shirt.

Despite his woes in front of goal, Tuttosport report that Spurs have made an offer for the French international, but it is Juventus who remain the favourites to sign him from the Champions League holders.

Kolo Muani question

It comes as a big surprise to see Kolo Muani mentioned with a return to Tottenham going on his struggles last season.

His time in the capital was underwhelming to say the least, with the player only managing a solitary goal in the Premier League despite featuring in 30 league games for the football club.

He did fare better in the Champions League, though, with four goals in nine appearances, including a double on his return to the French capital as PSG defeated Spurs 5-3 in the Champions League.

Previously described as "very complete" by Kylian Mbappe, it just never quite happened for Kolo Muani in a Tottenham shirt, as in fact was the case for a lot of the squad last term as they went dangerously close to suffering relegation to the Championship.

De Zerbi will now be targeting a big season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the hope will be that Spurs can get back to their previous heights under the guidance of the Italian after finishing the past two campaigns in 17th place.

If, for argument's sake, Kolo Muani was to return over the coming weeks, he would possibly benefit from a more attacking Tottenham under the head coach, a full pre-season alongside his teammates and a year's Premier League experience to his name.

One possible other benefit to re-signing the ex-Nantes man is that he would help solve a double De Zerbi issue in that he can operate as a striker or on the wing at a time when Tottenham have already spent £237m in the transfer window.

That would then allow the club to go big in the market to bring in a new attacking player to drastically improve their final third options and hopefully see a huge improvement there as they look to secure a place in Europe.

While there could be some benefits to bringing back Kolo Muani, it is not something Tottenham should entertain going on what he contributed on the pitch last term.

The Frenchman quite often came in for criticism from fans after offering very little in the final third, and it's fair to say that a return, which could draw some comparisons to Timo Werner's return after an initial loan spell, would not sit well with many at a time when Tottenham have made some statement moves in the market.

Kolo Muani did not live up to expectations in his year at Tottenham and for that reason the club should look elsewhere as they plan for the years ahead.

According to a top Tottenham source on X, the club has now held fresh transfer talks with Bournemouth striker Eli Kroupi Junior and his agent Moussa Sissoko.

The discussions are said to have been positive, with the French sensation once again expressing a desire to make the switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from the south coast.

The £100m-rated striker, who only turned 20 last month, shot onto the radars of top European clubs following an outstanding breakthrough campaign for the Cherries, as he helped them qualify for the Europa League after scoring 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances.

Following the recent transfer links with Tottenham and other top European clubs, Sissoko has spoken out about his client's future ahead of the new season.

He said: “We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens in the coming days; at the moment, there is no final decision."

Bournemouth have no interest in selling their exciting attacker as they get set to embark on their first ever European campaign, having already lost the likes of Senesi and Antoine Semenyo in 2026.

Milan are reportedly seeking up to €70 million for Leao, so a deal for Trincao could be cheaper if Sporting are accepting €50m.

Trincao, who has been described as having shades of Lionel Messi, could be a better option for Tottenham, especially at that price, but given Spurs' spending this summer, it wouldn't be a surprise if they were in the market for both players.

Bournemouth are set to demand in the region of £80 million to allow Kroupi to leave in the summer transfer window.

Kolo Muani has had a stellar reputation for much of his career because of his talent as a youngster, but he's now 27 and it's clear that he isn't good enough for the highest level.

Spurs want to get to that level again, and bringing him back into the squad would be a backwards step in the wrong direction, and it would be a mistake after all the progress that has been made this summer.

If Kroupi isn't available, then there are other strikers available on the market who would improve the team, and they should look at them instead, rather than wasting money onsomeone who has already proven to be not of the required standard.

Haaland may be the Norwegian player who regularly comes in for praise, but the prolific striker dished out some of his own when previously speaking about Nusa.

Making a name for himself in Belgium with Club Brugge and looking set to secure a Premier League move in 2024, Nusa was hailed by his fellow countryman.

"He's fantastic," stated the City striker. "So it is important to take care of him and not hype him too much, even though he is a great talent.

"It is important to leave him alone and give him the opportunity to develop."

Nusa has taken his game even further in the two years since Haaland's praise and a summer move from RB Leipzig may well now happen with the Premier League a likely destination.

Tottenham are ready to loan out one of their key stars, but their condition could complicate one particular deal. Spurs have fearlessly bolstered their squad this summer, putting together a club-record transfer window already.

The North London club's £235million or so investment this summer is more than they have ever spent in one window, and that total will continue to rise. Roberto De Zerbi is being given the chance to overhaul his squad in a bid to get them into Europe next season, but while there is excitement aplenty, the new signings are not good news for everyone.

Some of the club's young players now have very little chance of getting regular playing time, and Mikey Moore is one of those players.

Moore set for another loan spell

Tottenham youngster Moore spent last season out on loan with Scottish giants Rangers, making 33 league appearances, scoring seven and providing three assists. Moore impressed his loan club, and it appears they would like him back ahead of next season, even after changing manager, with Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl.

Moore is being backed for a big future, still only 18, and he has previously impressed in the Spurs first team, making 12 Premier League appearances to date. The winger is under contract until 2030, and it's clear Spurs believe he is a player who can become a starter at the club some day.

In fact, according to TeamTalk, Tottenham are blocking an approach from Borussia Dortmund to sign Moore on a loan deal with an option to buy. Spurs are said to be willing to loan out Moore again this season amid talks with Dortmund, but they will not allow the opportunity to sign the young player permanently.

Rangers could have an open window

It remains to be seen whether Dortmund will go ahead with the deal under those conditions, but it could offer Rangers the chance to steal a march, given they will likely happily do a loan deal without the possibility of a future purchase. Meanwhile, Dortmund are a top-tier club who have a rich history of developing young talents, and they are likely to want to own the player's rights if they are going to play such a big part in his development.

Rangers star James Tavernier said of Moore last season: "We had a difficult start to the season and Mikey responded well. He kept his head down and continued working hard.

"You can see his performances on the pitch; it is credit to him. Players can go under or go missing after the start we had, but he has taken everything on his shoulders and is pushing himself as a player."

Tottenham Firmly in Race to Sign Mishel Nduka

According to a top Spurs source on X, Tottenham are pushing hard to sign Arsenal youngster Nduka.

The Gunners' attacking midfield sensation is in demand this summer and is also being heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, but it is claimed that he was at Hotspur Way on Wednesday, presumably for talks and to look around at the facilities on offer.

The north Londoners are also in the race to sign another promising youngster in Darren Motsi from Leicester City.

Tottenham In Talks to Sign Third Midfielder

Fresh reports on Thursday also claim that Tottenham are in talks to bring a third midfielder to the club after the deals for Tonali and Fernandes.

Spurs are in discussions to sign Ousmane Diabate from Turkish top-flight club Genclerbirligi, after the 18-year-old broke into their first team last season.

However, Tottenham's London Premier League rivals Brentford are currently considered the favourites to get a deal done for the teenager, who could be on the move to England this summer.

Of course, Spurs already have their own highly-rated young midfielders in De Zerbi's first team squad, boasting the likes of Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Pape Matar Sarr.

All three players have been linked with moves away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer after the Italian boss showed a preference to stick with experience over youth at the end of last season.

With Spurs' midfield options already including Rodrigo Bentancur and Conor Gallagher, as well as the two new boys, there is significant competition for places in the club's engine room ahead of the new campaign.

Manchester United are set to make a bid to sign another Portuguese midfielder after missing out on Mateus Fernandes, according to United in Focus.

Man United's summer business had slowed down after they reached a full agreement to sign Ederson from Atalanta, although they had been attempting to land Fernandes from West Ham United as their second midfield target.

However, they were unwilling to match what Spurs were willing to pay for the 21-year-old, and he has moved to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium instead to link up with fellow new boy Sandro Tonali in the centre of the park.

GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed that the Ederson transfer is now also in doubt ahead of the player undergoing a second medical in the UK, although Red Devils chiefs have made progress elsewhere.

It was reported by David Ornstein on Wednesday that the club has reached a £50m agreement with Chelsea to sign Andrey Santos, with the Brazilian set to travel to Manchester to complete the formalities before officially putting pen to paper.

Even if Ederson does end up joining along with Santos, reports have suggested that another new midfielder could still arrive following the serious injury suffered by Manuel Ugarte at the World Cup with Uruguay.

According to United in Focus, Man United are now preparing to make a £20m offer to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign their Portuguese midfielder Mateus Mane.

The Red Devils are in the race with many top clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, for the exciting 18-year-old following a breakthrough campaign with the Midlands outfit in the Premier League.

The midfielder was one of the shining lights in a disastrous campaign that saw Wolves suffer relegation, with the club placing a £35m price tag on his head this summer as they look to keep him to secure an immediate return to the top flight next term.

United have held a long-term interest in the teenager, and are now ready to test the waters with an opening offer for a player who looks to have a huge future in the game and came through the ranks locally with Rochdale.

Man United Eyeing Surprise Striker Move

Man United chiefs are also said to be weighing up a surprise move for Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey as they consider bolstering their attacking options ahead of their return to the Champions League.

Michael Carrick currently has Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Joshua Zirkzee as his options to choose from in the position, but the latter could be on his way out of Old Trafford if the club receives an acceptable offer having found minutes hard to come by last season.
