Fabio Paratici’s warning to Fiorentina about Tottenham Hotspur is coming true - Spurs Web
Description

Fabio Paratici’s proposed move from Tottenham to Fiorentina is turning out to be a lot more complicated than the Serie A club expected.

It has now been reported by the Italian press for a week and a half that an announcement on Paratici’s Tottenham exit is expected soon, but there has been no such development.

The Spurs sporting director had agreed a contract to become Fiorentina’s head of football last week, but he still has not officially completed the move.

Some Italian outlets suggested that Paratici was due in Florence on Monday to sign for La Viola, but it turns out that the deal is not proving easy.

Fiorentina finding negotiations with Spurs complicated

It has now been revealed by Corriere Fiorentino (as relayed by Sport Witness) that the Serie A club are finding it difficult to strike a quick deal with Spurs.

Paratici still has two years left on his contract in North London, which means that the Italian club have to pay compensation to the Premier League side.

The report says that it is requiring a lot of patience on Fiorentina’s part, with the Serie A side finding the negotiations with Spurs to be a ‘mystical experience’.

MORE SPURS STORIES

It is explained that when Paratici accepted Fiorentina’s offer, he warned the club that Tottenham could be tricky to deal with, and that is now proving to be true.

Fabio Paratici is still expected to complete Tottenham exit

Corriere Fiorentino make it clear that despite the protracted negotiations, Paratici’s switch to Florence is not in doubt.

It is just a case of Tottenham looking after their own interests and not wanting to make it easy for the Serie A club.

The report suggests that it could take until the end of the month before all details are agreed on by the two clubs, but Fiorentina are so confident of getting Paratici that they have started making plans with the Italian on how to improve their squad.

Where Tottenham stand in the race for Yan Diomande after Mohammed Kudus injury - Spurs Web
Description

There has been a big update on Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande after Mohammed Kudus’ latest injury.

Among the various big-name wingers linked with a move to Spurs, Diomande is perhaps the option which has excited the supporters the most.

Spurs have already held talks with the RB Leipzig man’s representatives after scouting him extensively this season.

It was previously reported that Man United could be the Lilywhites’ biggest competitors for Diomande, but two other clubs are also thought to be involved.

Tottenham involved in a four-way battle for Yan Diomande

It has now been reported by talkSPORT that Spurs and Man United remain keen on the Ivory Coast international, and they have been joined in the race for the player by two other European giants.

The report says that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also launched enquiries on the Leipzig winger this month.

The outlet adds that the feeling among suitors is that the Bundesliga club’s €100m (£87.2m) price tag is nothing but grandstanding.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The interested clubs believe that they can sign the 19-year-old for a fee closer to closer to €60m (£52.3m).

Summer transfer more likely for Diomande

It has been asserted by talkSPORT that Leipzig have no intention of selling their talismanic winger in the middle of the season.

Additionally, Diomande’s participation in the African Cup of Nations further complicates a potential January move for the player.

Tottenham fans left frustrated by latest injury blow in N17, ‘See you next season’ - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham fans have been left frustrated once more following reports that yet another key player is set to spend an extended spell on the sidelines.

Tottenham Hotspur are already dealing with a growing list of absentees, with injuries continuing to disrupt momentum at a time when stability is badly needed.

Dominic Solanke and James Maddison remain sidelined, leaving Thomas Frank short of key attacking options, although Lucas Bergvall has returned to fitness and Xavi Simons is back available after serving a three-game suspension, providing a timely boost.

However, Spurs now face the risk of losing Mohammed Kudus after the winger picked up an injury in the Lilywhites’ clash against Sunderland last weekend.

Tottenham fans react as Mohammed Kudus faces extended spell on the sidelines

It is believed that the wide forward’s injury could be longer than initially expected, with Tottenham now looking to step up plans to sign a winger this month after scans showed that Mohammed Kudus’ issue is worse than first feared.

Tottenham fans have since reacted to the latest update on the winger’s condition, with frustration dominating the response online.

Reacting to the news, one fan said: “Spurs news is always ‘could’, ‘step up’ and still only ‘plans’. It is never ‘Spurs will buy’.” Another added: “Tottenham being Tottenham. See you next season, king. Have fun in the treatment room with the rest of our attack.”

MORE SPURS STORIES

A third supporter wrote: “Dejan Kulusevski being injured and Brennan Johnson being poor has meant that Frank irresponsibly ran Kudus into the ground. We have gone to zero options at a time when we do not even have anyone nailed down on that left-hand side. What a shambles of squad planning.”

Another kept it brief: “We are getting relegated.”

While a final fan added: “‘Could’ – are you taking the p**s? We needed a winger in summer, waited in the January window, sold a winger, now have an injured winger and now we could step up our plans. It should be a priority regardless.”

Spurs attacking depth under growing scrutiny

Spurs are gradually losing their attacking options, and that is a serious concern for Thomas Frank, whose side has looked blunt going forward in recent weeks.

Brennan Johnson has been sold and is yet to be replaced, further depleting depth in the forward line at a demanding stage of the season.

At present, Spurs have Wilson Odobert, Mathys Tel and Kolo Muani as their only wide options, which is far from ideal with fixtures coming thick and fast.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur may soon be forced into a decision over the future of one of their fringe players, with interest beginning to build from overseas and uncertainty surrounding his role in north London.

Antonin Kinsky has found game time hard to come by since his move to Tottenham Hotspur last winter window.

That is often the struggle with second-choice goalkeepers, who need to bide their time and wait in the wings while the first choice gets most of the minutes.

Thomas Frank has revealed that Kinsky is not happy being in the wings, and the Czech youngster is now attracting interest from elsewhere.

Tottenham consider Antonin Kinsky loan decision

This is according to Sabah (as relayed by Sport Witness), who report that Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky is an alternative option for Turkish side Besiktas, who are looking to sign a goalkeeper during the winter window.

It is understood that the Turkish-based side has already made contact with the Spurs’ number two shot-stopper ahead of what could be another winter move for the Czech international.

Kinsky, 22, has played 180 minutes of EFL Cup football this season, and it is believed that Spurs officials have been asked whether they are prepared to loan the young goalkeeper out.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham have not dismissed it immediately, with the Istanbul club now reported to be waiting on a final decision from north London.

Spurs goalkeeper linked as Chelsea situation complicates move

Sabah also explained that Kinsky is not the only goalkeeper Besiktas is interested in.

In fact, the Spurs goalkeeper is only an alternative to their main target, Chelsea’s Filip Jorgensen, who they have been working hard to secure and have even offered an 18-month loan with a purchase option.

However, Enzo Maresca and Chelsea parting ways has created uncertainty over the new manager’s stance, stalling that move and leading to Kinsky becoming an option.

Tottenham award Yang Min-hyeok with Championship upgrade at James Maddison's old team - Spurs Web
Description

Yang Min-hyeok has been getting on well at Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur believe he is now ready for a greater challenge.

It has only been a year since Yang Min-hyeok officially joined Tottenham Hotspur, but he has already built up plenty of experience in English football.

The Korean spent the second half of last season on loan at QPR, played for Spurs in pre-season and then joined Portsmouth on a temporary basis.

Yang has been playing well for the Championship strugglers and he recently scored with the last kick of the game to help his team seal a 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic.

Tottenham secure a third loan for Yang Min-hyeok

Thanks to his performances for Portsmouth, Spurs have awarded Yang with a favourable loan move until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old will depart his current team who sit just one point above relegation and join Coventry City, according to Fabrizio Romano.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Coventry are top of the Championship by comfortable margins and Yang will continue to help them push for promotion to the Premier League, with a deal between the clubs agreed today.

Yang must avoid suffering the same fate as other Spurs youngsters

Although Yang has enjoyed his time at Portsmouth, it will be harder to make an impact at a team who are already thriving in the Championship.

There have already been instances of Tottenham sending young players out on loan only for them to face difficulties. Mikey Moore had to endure a tough start at Rangers and Jamie Donley departed Stoke City after a disastrous spell which had to be cut short.

This is a big move for Yang and he must show he has what it takes to start for a team who have been doing very well with the players they already possess.

Tottenham predicted XI vs Bournemouth as Xavi Simons returns in the number 10 - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur head to the south coast under mounting pressure, with Thomas Frank able to call on Xavi Simons once again.

Tottenham Hotspur continue to fail to make dropped points around them count, with back-to-back draws in their last two league fixtures.

Results have been poor, as have the performances on the pitch, leaving many Tottenham fans frustrated with Thomas Frank, who was booed following the 1-1 draw against Sunderland last time out.

Attention now turns to an away trip to the Vitality Stadium, where struggling Bournemouth await, and victory will be of the essence as Spurs remain in the bottom half of the league table.

Let us now take a look at how we expect Thomas Frank to line up against Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Tottenham predicted XI vs Bournemouth

Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario: The Italian could not make it three clean sheets on the bounce following Brian Brobbey’s emphatic finish on Sunday; nevertheless, he should keep his spot between the sticks.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: Tottenham could hand Porro a rest here and move Djed Spence to his spot if Frank wants to keep things fresh on his flank, but no changes are expected on Wednesday night.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Centre-back – Cristian Romero: The Argentine should keep his spot in the starting XI, having been involved in Spurs’ goal against Sunderland last time out.

Centre-back – Micky van de Ven: He remains Spurs’ best performer so far this season, grabbed the assist against the Black Cats, and the Dutchman is expected to retain his starting spot.

Left-back – Djed Spence: He was rested against Sunderland, with Ben Davies handed a rare start, but should return to the starting XI.

Pivot midfielder – Rodrigo Bentancur: The Uruguayan remains Frank’s preferred option in the pivot role and should start on Wednesday.

Pivot midfielder – Archie Gray: The youngster continues to develop in midfield, which is only good for Tottenham, and with Frank trusting him more, he should continue alongside Bentancur.

Attacking midfielder – Xavi Simons: The Dutchman is set to be back in contention for Spurs having completed his three game suspension and should return to the starting XI on Wednesday

Right winger – Wilson Odobert: Brennan Johnson has sealed a move to Crystal Palace, and Mohammed Kudus’ form has dipped in recent weeks, which could see Frank freshen things up on the right.

Striker – Richarlison: The Brazil international remains the leading marksman for Spurs and should lead the line here.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action looking to arrest a frustrating run of results as they head to the south coast to face Bournemouth under the lights. Here’s how to watch the clash between Tottenham and Bournemouth.

Tottenham Hotspur once again avoided defeat last time out in the Premier League when newly promoted Sunderland faced them at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was a league fixture that ended in a 1-1 draw after Spurs went ahead through a Ben Davies goal, but they could not see the game through, with Brian Brobbey equalising for the Black Cats.

That result leaves Spurs in the bottom half of the Premier League table, having once more failed to take advantage of dropped points among their top-five rivals.

When and where Bournemouth vs Tottenham takes place

Bournemouth will host Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 19:30 (UK time).

Supporters in the United Kingdom can watch the match live on Sky Sports Golf.

Bournemouth and Spurs team news

Spurs still have several players unavailable for this clash, as Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison and Dominic Solanke remain sidelined with long-term injuries.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Lucas Bergvall made the bench last time out against Brentford, while Destiny Udogie is working his way back to full fitness and could feature; meanwhile, Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma are away on AFCON duty. Xavi Simons returns from suspension.

Bournemouth also have several injury concerns, with Matai Akinmboni sidelined by a muscle injury, Veljko Milosavljevic out with a knee problem, Ryan Christie dealing with a knock, Tyler Adams unavailable through injury, and Ben Gannon Doak ruled out with a hamstring issue.

Spurs Web prediction for Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Thomas Frank continues to struggle to deliver the sort of front-foot attacking football Spurs fans want to see.

Boring draws, with just a single goal scored and a combined xG of 2.19 alongside two big chances created across their last two outings, have left supporters increasingly frustrated.

Bournemouth have their own injury problems and are often involved in high-scoring matches, which will provide a stern test for Frank’s side both defensively and offensively.

Failure to secure a victory against a struggling Bournemouth outfit will only increase the pressure on a manager who has already been booed by his own fans.

Tottenham scouts and analysts urge club to sign £35m star who had 37 G/A last season - Spurs Web
Description

A former Norwich City man is rated very highly at Tottenham and is moving near the top of the club’s January shopping list.

Spurs are thought to be eyeing a move for several ambitious wide-forwards, with the Lilywhites said to be keen on making a statement signing this month.

However, Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a young Greek winger, who would be an unfamiliar name for many supporters.

It first emerged back in November that Spurs are assessing a move for Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis, and it has now emerged that the 23-year-old has some big fans at the North London club.

Tottenham staff want club to prioritise signing Christos Tzolis

A new report in TEAMtalk has revealed that Tzolis is ‘hugely respected’ by the Spurs analytics and scouting department.

The report says that while Tottenham are continuing to eye moves for high-profile names such as Savinho and Maghnes Akliouche, the Club Brugge man is also high up on their wishlist.

In fact, the club’s recruitment team rates Tzolis very highly, with Spurs’ analytical staff and a high-ranking scout believing that the Greek star should be their priority target.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The outlet added that the North London club have been watching the 23-year-old regularly over the last few months.

How much would Spurs have to pay for Tzolis?

The former Norwich City man has made impressive progress since leaving Fortuna Düsseldorf for Brugge in 2024.

Tzolis finished last season with 21 goals and 16 assists, and he has already notched up 11 goals and 15 assists this term across all competitions.

TEAMtalk say that his outstanding numbers have seen the winger’s value skyrocket, with Burgge wanting ‘at least’ €40m (£35m) for their talisman.

How much Tottenham would have to pay to sign Savinho from Man City in January

How much Tottenham would have to pay to sign Savinho from Man City in January - Spurs Web
Description

A new report has shed light on the fee that Manchester City are likely to demand for Savinho amid links with a move to Tottenham.

It has been widely reported that Spurs could reignite their interest in Savinho after missing out on their top target, Antoine Semenyo.

However, there have been mixed reports on whether the Brazilian will be on the market in the January transfer window.

While some sources have claimed that Man City could let Savinho leave if they land Semenyo, other publications have insisted that Pep Guardiola’s men do not plan on selling the 21-year-old mid-season.

Tottenham will have to break the bank for Savinho

GiveMeSport have now asserted that Tottenham Hotspur could test the Manchester club’s resolve to hang on to Savinho over the coming weeks.

It is explained that Spurs were willing to pay £70m to bring the Brazilian to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer, but City refused to let him go.

The report states that Thomas Frank’s side would have to offer a similar fee this month to convince the Manchester club to part ways with the winger.

MORE SPURS STORIES

It is suggested that City are unlikely to hold any negotiations over for Savinho unless that kind of fee is on the table.

Spurs are hoping City have changed their mind

It was claimed by talkSPORT a few days ago that Tottenham are hopeful City would be more receptive to an offer for Savinho this month than they were in the summer.

It was reported in TEAMtalk last week that Spurs first want to speak to Savinho to find out if he is keen on a move to N17.

If the 21-year-old expresses a desire to remain at City and fight for a place, Tottenham are not expected to test the waters with an offer.

Tottenham fans left frustrated after £8m bid for first January signing is rejected - Spurs Web
Description

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to reports of a rejected bid for a Brazilian prospect, with frustration quickly bubbling to the surface online.

The winter window is now in full swing, and Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad following a £100 million injection ahead of the window opening.

A first piece of business has already been completed, with Brennan Johnson sold to Crystal Palace for £33.5 million, but reports suggest Spurs are not finished yet.

It has been claimed that Tottenham, in a bid to strengthen the left-back position, submitted an £8 million ($10.7m) bid for Santos left-back Souza, which was rejected, with the Brazilian side hesitant to accept an offer for a teenager they rate highly and believe could increase in value.

Tottenham fans react to Spurs bid for Brazilian left-back Souza

Spurs fans, who are expecting a big window of activity, have now shared their reaction to the latest report surrounding Tottenham’s attempt to land a new left-back, and many supporters have been left frustrated.

One fan said: “Just what we need, another unproven kid. Looks great on you tube” Another added: “This club loves messing around bro, even with Levy gone we still penny pinching” One more commented: “All this apparent money and we’re bidding £8m”

Another fan stated: “We can’t even get deals done for £10M prospects ffs. No indication that anything has changed under ENIC 2.0” Another contributed: “And people thought Levy being gone would magically fix all of our low-balling bids and how we act in the market lol ENIC have always been the issue”

MORE SPURS STORIES

Meanwhile, a final added: “Levy gone but the low balling continues”

Why full-back depth remains a concern for Spurs

Spurs do need depth at full-back, with realistic options limited to Djed Spence, Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie.

Ben Davies can operate in the wide areas, but he is not expected to start a large number of games for Tottenham at this stage of his career.

Udogie has struggled with injuries, making reliable cover on the left important, while Porro has little competition on the right, something that is required if he is to continue improving.

This winter window is therefore a significant one for ENIC, who have plenty to prove if they are to change the perception many Spurs fans currently hold.
