Tottenham Hotspur insider Paul O’Keefe has disclosed that the club are desperately seeking to sell midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

According to O’Keefe, the Argentine international does not fit into manager Ange Postecoglou’s system.

O’Keefe, speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, noted that both Lo Celso is among the players Tottenham are trying to move on from. He believes the Argentine does not have the legs to play the football Ange expects to be played.

The transfer insider said:

“Lo Celso and Reguilon will be the two who they are desperately trying to get rid of.

“Giovani [Lo Celso] they say that he does not have the legs for Ange’s system, so they are prepared to let him out and I think that was quite obvious the way he was a bit-part player. He came on and did a few nice cameos.

“There is obviously a player there, he is a talented footballer but he doesn’t suit what they want.”

Last season, Lo Celso made only four Premier League starts out of 22 appearances, contributing two goals and two assists. His time at the North London outfit has been marred by injuries and limited playing time, diminishing his impact on the field.

With his contract approaching its final year, Spurs view the sale of Lo Celso as an opportunity to free up space and raise funds for new signings that better align with Postecoglou’s tactical vision.

As the transfer window progresses, Tottenham will be keen to finalise Lo Celso’s departure, enabling them to bring in new players who can contribute more effectively to their campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur are adamant to part ways with defender Sergio Reguilon this summer.

Club insider Paul O’Keefe has confirmed this, stating that the Lilywhites are eager to find a new club for the Spanish left-back, who is in the final year of his contract.

Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, O’Keefe mentioned that Reguilon, along with Giovani Lo Celso, is one of the players the club is urgently trying to offload.

He said:

“Lo Celso and Reguilon will be the two who they are desperately trying to get rid of. Reguilon has absolutely no future at Tottenham whatsoever.”

The 27-year-old defender does not fit into manager Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the upcoming season, making his future at Tottenham uncertain.

Earlier this year, Reguilon was loaned to Brentford for the remainder of the season, where he displayed promising form, providing four assists in 16 appearances.

Despite these performances, Spurs are prepared to negotiate his transfer to funds for new signings that better align with Postecoglou’s tactical vision.

There have been rumours of a possible return to Spain for Reguilon, with Manchester United also emerging as a potential destination.

As the transfer window progresses, Tottenham will be keen to finalise Reguilon’s departure, allowing them to focus on restructuring their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Tottenham’s pursuit of Wolves forward Pedro Neto has encountered a significant hurdle, as Manchester City are now also showing interest in the winger.

This comes following the imminent sale of Julian Alvarez to La Liga heavyweights Atletico Madrid in a big money move.

This recent development means City are now going to focus on signing a replacement and according to The Telegraph, Pedro Neto has caught the attention of Pep Guardiola, presenting Spurs with stiff competition.

The Portuguese international has drawn interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City.

Despite recently signing Brazilian winger Savinho for £30.8 million, City are keen on further bolstering their attacking options.

Neto, under contract with Wolves until June 2027, is expected to make a move this summer.

Last season, he displayed his skills by scoring three goals and providing 11 assists in 24 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, showcasing his pace, dribbling ability, and effectiveness on the flank. He has been one of Wolves’ best players since joining the club, scoring 14 and assisted 24 across all competitions.

Neto’s performances have made him a highly sought-after target for Tottenham. Their interest is strong and as per Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe, the club has already held talks regarding a move for him.

It was previously also reported that Spurs have held talks with Neto over personal terms.

As Tottenham continue to pursue Neto, they must now contend with Manchester City’s financial power and competitive appeal.

The Lilywhites will be closely monitoring the developments, hoping to secure Neto’s signature and reinforce their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison is facing an uncertain future as the transfer window deadline draws near.

According to Football Insider, the Brazilian international could see his time at Spurs come to an end if a new striker is signed before the deadline.

Interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, particularly Al Ahli, remains strong. The Lilywhites have valued Richarlison at around £60 million, and despite his contract running until 2027, the club seems willing to consider offers for him.

Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in July 2022 for €58 million. However, his stint at Spurs has been challenging, with injuries and inconsistent form impacting his performance.

He has managed to score only 15 goals and provide eight assists in 66 appearances, falling short of expectations.

It is no secret that the North London club are after a top-class striker this summer and the report suggests that if they manage to sign one before 31st August, it will leave the Brazilian’s future at the club hanging.

The club’s pursuit of strengthening their attacking options has intensified in recent days, with strong interest in players like Dominic Solanke, who had a great campaign last season with Bournemouth.

As the transfer window narrows, Richarlison’s situation will be closely watched. His departure could offer a fresh start for both him and Tottenham, giving the club the financial flexibility needed to enhance their squad for the upcoming season.

The next few weeks will be crucial in deciding whether Richarlison stays in North London or moves on to new opportunities, potentially in the Saudi Pro League. Spurs fans and management will be keenly observing the developments as the deadline approaches.

Tottenham Hotspur are poised to finalise a first professional deal with the highly promising Mikey Moore.

According to The Atheltic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke, this contract, scheduled to be completed on Moore’s 17th birthday this Sunday, represents the most lucrative agreement the Lilywhites has ever offered to a 17-year-old. The record-breaking deal shows how highly the club value the teenager.

Sharing the update on X, he said:

“Tottenham agree first pro deal with Mikey Moore, due to be finalised on his 17th birthday on Sunday. More money than Spurs have offered a 17 y/o before. 3-year deal.”

Mikey Moore began his journey with Tottenham as an Under-9 player and has consistently advanced through the club’s youth system. During the 2022-23 season, he was a key player for the trophy-winning Spurs U17s and U18s teams.

Remarkably, Moore debuted for the U21s at just 15 years old, making him one of the youngest to do so. In June of last year, he signed a schoolboy contract with Tottenham, which will now transition into a professional deal on his 17th birthday.

In the U18 Premier League last season, the Englishman had a standout campaign, making 22 goal contributions in 12 games (14 goals and 8 assists).

Moore made his first-team debut for Tottenham earlier in May this year, in a Premier League match against Manchester City, becoming the youngest player in Spurs’ history to appear in the league at 16 years and 277 days.

Beyond his club achievements, Moore has also excelled internationally with England U17. At the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in May, he scored four goals and provided an assist in four appearances.

He has continued to impress Ange with his incredible performances in the pre-season this summer, leading to suggestions that he will play a significant role for the first-team in the upcoming season.

Tottenham Hotspur remains deeply committed to Mikey Moore’s development, recognising his immense potential and long-term value to the club.

Tottenham have been in talks with people close to LOSC Lille’s Jonathan David regarding a move this summer.

While Tottenham are actively pushing for the signature of Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke, they have other targets for the number nine position. LOSC Lille’s Jonathan David is one of the names on their wishlist and according to a report from CaughtOffside, the North London club have held talks with contacts close to the player.

Harry Kane parted ways with the club last summer but Tottenham decided against signing a replacement. Without bringing in a top-quality forward, Spurs did an impressive job in the final third of the pitch but they couldn’t secure a top-four finish. To take the team to the next level, Ange Postecoglou wants to sign a new striker.

He wants someone who has a proven track record and can be the leader of their attack. The arrival of a new number nine will not only add goals but also allow Son Heung-min to feature in his preferred position out wide on the left flank. The North London club are interested in the services of Jonathan David who has gone from strength to strength since joining Lille back in 2020.

Last season, the Canadian international was involved in 47 matches and he finished with 35 goal contributions ( 26 goals, 9 assists). With just 12 months left on his current contract, Spurs have an opportunity to sign him for a cut-price fee. They are pushing for his signature and recently held talks with people close to the player to make advances. David can surely be a great addition to their team, as a result, it will be interesting to see how things develop.

Tottenham are closely monitoring Crystal Palace’s Joachim Andersen amidst interest from rivals Liverpool.

Ange Postecoglou has been pushing hard to bring in another centre-back before the end of the transfer window. While reinforcing the attack seems to be the top priority, the North London club are also looking to add more depth at the back. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham are interested in the services of Joachim Andersen and they have been closely monitoring his situation at Crystal Palace.

Since arriving at Tottenham, the Australian manager has already added Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin to his defence. Van de Ven has already established himself as a mainstay and given the kind of potential Dragusin has, he is expected to play a big part in the 2024/25 season. Despite having five centre-backs in his squad, Postecoglou seeks more depth and Palace’s Joachim Andersen is one of the names on their wishlist.
