Tottenham are all set to hold talks with the agent of Arsenal attacking target Barış Alper Yılmaz.

Despite having extended the loan spell of Timo Werner, there is still a lot of work that Tottenham need to put in to strengthen their attack ahead of next season. While all the talk is about signing a world-class number nine to lead the attack, they are also looking to add more quality on the flanks, particularly on the right flank.

Galatasaray’s attacking sensation Barış Alper Yılmaz’s impressive rise over the past 12 months have caught the attention of Tottenham and according to a report from Sabah, the North London club are all set to hold talks with the Turkiye international’s agent in London over a potential transfer.

While he has been a part of the Turkish club’s first team since joining them in the summer of 2021, he had a breakthrough campaign last season as he scored seven goals and even bagged 12 assists in his 55 appearances. It helped him cement his place in Turkiye’s squad for Euro 2024 where he managed to impress one and all with his abilities on and off the ball.

Galatasaray consider him to be an integral part of their first-team setup moving forward and he has three years left on his deal with them. However, the report suggests that their management would be willing to sanction his departure if they receive an offer in excess of €30 million.

Tottenham have already taken the first steps towards signing him as they are all set to hold talks with his representatives in London but they are not the only club interested as Yilmaz’s agent will also hold talks with Arsenal.

Arsenal are looking to add depth to their attack as well. Mikel Arteta has not been able to rotate Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli often. The arrival of Yilmaz will allow the Gunners to shuffle things around in the attack.

Tottenham are ready to sell another midfielder after agreeing a deal for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

In the last 24 hours, the club has agreed a deal for the Danish midfielder with French side Marseille, who will pay a fee close to £14m plus add-ons.

Now, it appears that Spurs are set to sell Oliver Skipp as well. According to Football Insider, the North London club is willing to part with the young midfielder but first wants to secure another homegrown player. This move ensures the club adheres to the Premier League’s rules regarding homegrown players.

The league mandates that each top-flight club must include at least eight homegrown players in their squad. If Skipp leaves, Spurs would be left with only seven homegrown players.

If Spurs can sign a replacement, they can then proceed with selling Skipp, who has attracted interest from Leicester City in recent weeks.

The newly promoted side is keen on bolstering their midfield, specially after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s £30 million transfer to Chelsea.

The newly promoted side are in need of bolstering their midfield, specially after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s £30 million transfer to Chelsea.

Skipp, who signed a five-year contract extension with Tottenham in April 2022, had committed to a long-term future with the club.

Despite his potential, he faces stiff competition for a spot in Spurs’ midfield. Last season, under manager Ange Postecoglou, he struggled to secure regular playing time, making 24 appearances across all competitions but starting only seven games.

This potential move could provide Skipp with more regular playing opportunities while allowing Tottenham to reinforce their squad as needed.

Tottenham have been linked with several players this summer, with Rennes’ Desire Doue among the top prospects.

Spurs are being strongly favoured to secure Doue’s signing despite stiff competition from Bayern Munich and PSG.

Club insider John Wenham has voiced his confidence that the Lilywhites can outmanoeuvre their rivals to land the young talent.

The 19-year-old Doue has garnered interest from numerous elite European clubs. His versatility and skills make him an exceptional asset, capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on either wing.

In the last Ligue 1 season, Doue made 31 appearances, scored four goals, and provided five assists in his 17 starts, showcasing his potential to be a significant addition to any top team. (Transfermarkt)

Wenham highlighted that the highly-rated attacker would be an exciting addition to the squad, perfectly aligning with Spurs’ strategy of signing promising young talents.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham emphasised the club’s recent success in attracting top young players, such as Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall.

He also noted that despite strong interest from other major clubs, Tottenham successfully signed players like Luka Vuskovic and Radu Dragusin, demonstrating their capability to convince top talent to join the North London side.

Wenham said:

“I think this signing would fit in with the obvious strategy at the club of signing the most exciting young talent around.

“The likes of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have been signed, and Doué would add to that list.

“He is heavily linked to Munich and PSG. However, to Spurs’ credit, so was Luka Vušković, and so was Radu Drăgușin.

“They managed to do those deals and convince the players that they were the club to join, so why can’t they do it again?”

Tottenham’s recent track record of securing promising young players adds credibility to Wenham’s optimism.

Tottenham have intensified their efforts to secure one of their key summer transfer targets.

According to Football Transfers, Spurs’ technical director, Johan Lange, has ‘initiated discussions’ with Wolverhampton Wanderers about the potential signing of Pedro Neto.

The Portuguese international has been a long-term target for the Lilywhites, with their interest dating back to the January transfer window.

Despite being contracted with Wolves until June 2027, there is speculation that Neto could be available for the right price.

The 24-year-old winger has garnered interest from several top Premier League clubs, and his agent is actively exploring transfer options this summer.

Neto has shown considerable potential despite facing injury setbacks last season. He was out for a total of four months due to a hamstring injury on two occasions but returned to demonstrate his agility.

Neto scored three goals and provided 11 assists in 24 appearances across the Premier League and FA Cup, highlighting his impact on the pitch this past season.

Since joining the club, he has scored 14 goals and assisted 24 across all competitions.

The left-winger also showed promise during the recent UEFA Euro 2024, making three substitute appearances for Portugal in the group stage.

Neto’s speed and dribbling prowess on the wings make him an appealing target for Tottenham. His ability to create opportunities and deliver precise assists aligns with manager Ange Postecoglou’s vision to enhance the team’s attacking options.

As Spurs looks to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season, the addition of Neto could provide a fresh attacking dimension to the team.

Tottenham Hotspur are unwavering in their pursuit of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.

According to the latest from Football Transfers, Johan Lange, Spurs’ technical director, is eager to bring Eze to North London as a potential replacement for Heung-min Son.

The report claims that while Eze is not actively seeking a transfer, he expects Crystal Palace to allow him to leave if Tottenham meet the asking price of approximately £60 million.

It adds that Palace manager Oliver Glasner is keen to keep Eze at Selhurst Park. However, Spurs are ready to make a significant investment to secure Eze, which could potentially set a new club record for a signing.

Caughtoffside previously reported that initial discussions have been held between the Lilywhites and Eze’s representatives.

Eze’s potential addition to Tottenham aligns with the club’s plan of enhancing their squad with dynamic and creative talent. His versatility and attacking prowess make him an ideal fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system.

Last season, Eze’s performances were outstanding despite a month-long muscle injury. He scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 27 Premier League appearances, highlighting his quality and potential impact at Spurs.

Eze’s talent was also evident during the recent Euro 2024. He was included in England’s 26-man squad and made his European Championship debut in a 1-1 draw against Denmark. In the round of 16, he pre-assisted Harry Kane’s winning goal against Slovakia and played in the quarterfinal victory over Switzerland.

As Tottenham continue their pursuit of Eze, fans are excited to see if the talented midfielder will join their ranks, bringing his flair and creativity to the team for the upcoming season.

Tottenham Hotspur remain keen on signing Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth this summer.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move for the North London club in recent months and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to sign a quality number nine who can replace Harry Kane and the Bournemouth striker is reportedly on his radar.

The likes of West Ham United and Chelsea are keen on signing the 26-year-old as well according to Football Insider and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Solanke scored 19 goals in the Premier League last season and he has established himself as a reliable performer in the Premier League. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for the North London club if they can get the deal done.

Tottenham are yet to bring in a reliable replacement for Harry Kane who left the club last summer. Solanke could certainly fill that void in the upcoming campaign. The Bournemouth striker has shown that he can score goals consistently, and he is equally adept at holding up the play and bringing others into the game. He could add a new dimension to the Spurs attack.

However, it is fair to assume that Bournemouth are unlikely to let him leave for cheap. The striker joined the Cherries for a fee of around £19 million in 2019 and Bournemouth will look to make a substantial profit on him. It remains to be seen whethetr Spurs are ready to break the bank for the homegrown prospect in the coming weeks.

Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe, the 28-year-old French international striker has been offered to Tottenham but the North London club are yet to take up the option to sign the player.

Martial is currently a free agent after his contract expired with the Red Devils, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up this summer. The 28-year-old was regarded as a world-class prospect when he arrived at Manchester United, but he never quite managed to fulfil his potential. The French attacker failed to live up to the expectations, and the Red Devils have decided to part ways with him upon the expiry of his contract.

Tottenham are in need of a quality striker and Martial would have been a useful acquisition for them. The French international is capable of operating as a centre-forward as well as a winger. He would have added goals and creativity to the Tottenham attack.

Signing him on a free transfer would have been a low-risk investment for the North London club, but they have decided not to pursue a move for him.

It will be interesting to see if they can bring in a goalscorer this summer. Tottenham are yet to replace Harry Kane adequately and they should look to invest in a reliable attacker before the transfer window closes. The North London club used Son Heung-min as their main striker last season, but the South Korean international thrives in a more creative role.

Tottenham must look to improve their squad if they are serious about challenging for trophies and they will need to plug the gaps in their squad before the window closes.

As for Martial, he remains a quality attacker and it will be interesting to see if he can regain his form and confidence next season. The French international managed to win the English League cup with Manchester United in 2023. He has previously won the UEFA Europa League, Community Shield, FA Cup with the Red Devils as well.
