Tottenham are closely monitoring Nottingham Forest defensive star Murillo ahead of a potential transfer.

The North London club are always on the lookout for players who can further bolster their squad. They have already done some quality transfer business in the ongoing window by extending Timo Werner’s loan and signing Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray.

They are working hard to add more quality to help Ange Postecoglou’s team as they hope for a top-four finish this time around. The Australian manager wants more depth at the back, he wants to sign another centre-back despite having added Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin in the previous two windows.

According to a report from The Athletic, the North London club are scouting Nottingham Forest sensation Murillo who was exceptional last season. He was adjudged Nottingham’s player of the season in a campaign where they successfully avoided relegation.

While he still has four years left on his current contract, the Tricky Trees came into the window believing that they might have to sell the Brazilian defender to comply with Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations. It did represent an opportunity for clubs who have been monitoring him for a while.

Tottenham are one of the clubs who have been scouting the 22-year-old who is valued between £60 to £70 by Nottingham. While they might have addressed their PSR issues for the time being, Spurs could still knock on their doors as they continue their hunt for another defensive signing which seems important to Postecoglou’s plans. However, the high valuation of Murillo could be a major a problem for Spurs.

Tottenham are ready to battle West Ham United for the services of Brentford star striker Ivan Toney.

Signing a new number nine remains a top priority for Tottenham Hotspur this summer. While they have been linked with multiple top stars, Ivan Toney is quite high on their wishlist.

According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, the North London club will have to square up against rivals West Ham United for the services of the Brentford striker.

Toney had an exceptional 2022/23 season which put him on the radar of multiple top clubs. He was expected to be on the move last summer but a ban for illegal betting disrupted the plans. He returned to action at the start of the year and with his contract at the Bees running out in 12 months, he has his heart set on a move to a bigger club.

Since multiple top clubs were keen on signing him, Brentford were hoping for a bidding war in an attempt to raise £60 million to £80 million from his sale. But, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea taking a backseat, the price now has come down to £50 million. The Bees want to ensure they cash in on him this summer having already secured a replacement in Igor Thiago.

Tottenham and West Ham are the only two clubs who remain in the race for his services. The Hammers are in desperate need to reinforce their attack with both their strikers on the wrong side of 30. They want someone who can take over from 34-year-old Michail Antonio.

As far as Spurs are concerned, they need a star striker who can lead their attack after deciding against signing one last summer post the departure of Harry Kane.

Tottenham are willing to battle the Hammers as they believe Toney’s arrival will give Ange Postecoglou the freedom to use Son Heung-Min out wide on the left flank where he is at his best.

Tottenham are interested in acquiring the services of free agent Adrien Rabiot.

Tottenham have been quite busy in the ongoing transfer window. They have already made some great moves this summer and according to TuttoJuve, the North London club are now looking to push for the services of Adrien Rabiot who has parted ways with Juventus and is currently a free agent.

The report suggests that the French international is closing in on a move to the Premier League where Tottenham as well as rivals Arsenal are both keen on his signature. Rabiot went from strength to strength after making the move to Juventus from PSG in the summer of 2019.

The 29-year-old was one of the important players at the Italian club and they were keen on extending his stay at the club. But, his contract ran out at the end of last month and they have confirmed his departure from the club.

With Rabiot available for free, there is no shortage of interest in his services.

Tottenham are looking to sign a new midfielder before the end of the transfer window and they seem keen on adding Rabiot to their squad as he will bring in a lot of experience. Given how consistent he has been over the past few seasons, Ange Postecoglou will have a reliable figure in midfield.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg’s future at the club is uncertain and the French international could be a great replacement on a free transfer. But, signing him won’t be easy as there will be significant competition for his services.

Tottenham nearly signed Anthony Lozano in 2010, a move the Honduran forward recently described as a significant heartbreak.

Back then, Lozano was with Olimpia in Honduras and was close to a dream transfer to the Premier League.

At just 17, Lozano impressed then-manager Harry Redknapp during a training stint with Spurs’ reserve team.

However, financial disagreements between Tottenham and his Honduran club, Olimpia, derailed the deal.

The young player was left devastated, forced to return to Olimpia without realising his Premier League aspirations.

Speaking to TUDN, Lozano reflected on the failed deal, stating:

“Honestly, yes (it was hard), it wasn’t because of me, but because of the club, Olimpia, I’ve never talked about it… but I went with enthusiasm, I was 17 years old, it was a trial, I was supposedly signed, I did the tests, I had the contract, but when it happened, the person who traveled with me from the club said that the amounts were not the agreed ones.

“I couldn’t stay on the team because of money. I was jumping up and down (with excitement), but when I arrived and the contract wasn’t signed, I left the room almost crying. It wasn’t because of my ability, but more because of financial issues.”

Lozano’s career took him to Spain in 2011, signing with Valencia and then loaned to Alcoyano in Segunda División. After a stint with Valencia’s reserves, he returned to Olimpia.

In 2017, Lozano joined FC Barcelona B, making history as the first Honduran to represent the Catalan club.

His career continued with a move to Girona FC in 2018, where he played in La Liga, and later to Cádiz CF, playing a crucial role in their promotion to the top flight.

Now 31, Lozano is playing for Liga MX side Santos Laguna, continuing his professional journey.

Despite the missed opportunity with Tottenham, he has enjoyed a decent career across various leagues.

Tottenham striker Richarlison has been linked with a move away this summer, with reports claiming that the club are open to selling him for the right offer.

And while initially the Brazilian dismissed the rumours, insisting that he will be at Spurs next season, it appears that he has had a change of heart.

Richarlison has now expressed interest in moving to the Saudi Pro League, indicating a possible departure from the Lilywhites this summer.

That is according to the latest from HITC, who claim that Spurs are ready to approve the sale of the Brazilian centre-forward, aiming to recoup the £60 million paid to Everton in 2022.

The report claims that the striker has confirmed his interest in moving to Saudi Arabia to the Saudi Pro League, who will now step up their interest in the coming weeks.

Despite his decent form last season, with 11 goals and 4 assists in 28 Premier League appearances, his overall performance at Spurs has been inconsistent.

Since joining Tottenham, Richarlison has scored 15 goals and provided 8 assists in 66 appearances across all competitions over two seasons. His impact has not fully met the high expectations placed upon him upon his arrival. (Transfermarkt)

With a contract extending until June 2027, Tottenham view the sale of Richarlison as an opportunity to fund the signing of his replacement striker during the ongoing transfer window.

The club are keen on bolstering their attack and are planning to sign a top class striker to fill the void left by Harry Kane.

The Lilywhites are expected to welcome bids that match their initial investment in Richarlison.

This will be a significant signing for Spurs who have been looking to bolster their midfield this summer.

They have already signed Archie Gray who looks to be part of Ange’s immediate plans.

Ramsey could be another great addition to his side.

His ability to play both as a number 8 and number 10 showcases his versatility and unique skill set, making him an attractive option for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham are in constant contact with Chelsea attacking target Jonathan David’s entourage.

Jonathan David finds himself on the wishlist of multiple top clubs from across Europe thanks to his exceptional performances for LOSC Lille over the past few seasons. The French club’s president Olivier Létang has already admitted that the Canadian international is likely to leave this summer.

Tottenham are one of the clubs keen on signing him and according to a report from Football Insider, the North London club have been in daily contact with his agents as they plot a move for his services. David has gone from strength to strength since joining the French club from KAA Gent. He has scored 84 goals in his 183 outings with 52 of those goals coming over the last two seasons.

His consistent performances have put him on the radar of Chelsea who are looking to sign a top quality forward who can lead the line for them starting next season. While the Blues are keen on bringing him to London, Tottenham are also pushing hard for his signature.

Signing a new number nine is a top priority for Ange Postecoglou. They surely did a decent job without signing a Harry Kane replacement last summer but to take the next step and challenge the best teams in the country, Spurs need a star striker who can lead the line. They feel David could be an ideal fit for their system. He is only 24 and could be around for years to come.

The North London club have been in constant contact with the player’s representatives as they look to table an offer for him in the near future. With just 12 months left on his deal, the report suggests that Lille would be willing to sanction his departure for a fee of £25 million. It could be a great opportunity for Spurs to sign a top forward for a bargain price and they do not want to miss out on him.

Wolves are ready to sanction the departure of Tottenham target Pedro Neto for a fee of around £50 million.

Tottenham have already made quite a few moves in the ongoing transfer window but there is still a lot of work to be done. While any further signings in the centre of the park will depend on potential departures, they are looking to add more firepower to their attack.

They have already extended Timo Werner’s loan spell and are now looking to add another top-quality winger to the mix. Wolves’ Pedro Neto is one of the names on their wishlist and according to a report from GIVEMESPORT, the Portuguese international could be available for a fee of around £50 million.

While Ange Postecoglou already has a lot of quality out wide on the flanks, he wants more competition for places in his team. The Australian manager feels the need to have someone who can compete with Werner, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison regularly. Neto is one of the names on their shortlist.

He has had an exceptional rise at Wolves since joining them from Lazio back in 2019. While Neto has made quite a name for himself and he has even managed to break into the Portuguese national team, the 24-year-old has struggled with injuries in the recent past.

He still has three years left on his deal but it seems Wolves are ready to cash in on him and reinvest the amount to strengthen other areas of their squad. They could sanction his departure for a fee of around £50 million. Neto is an incredible talent who could do wonders for Tottenham but given his recent injury record, the North London club needs to do a lot of checks before they move ahead.

Tottenham are willing to battle rivals Arsenal for the services of Espanyol shot-stopper Joan Garcia.

Joan Garcia was exceptional in the second half of last season. He made the number one position at Espanyol his own and played a big part in their return to the Spanish top flight. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed and according to Sport via SportWitness, Tottenham are ready to compete with Arsenal for the services of the Spanish shot-stopper.

Garcia has been a part of the Espanyol first team since 2021 but he had to wait a long while to get an extended run in the team. When he finally did get a chance to showcase his abilities, the 23-year-old didn’t disappoint as he kept 12 clean sheets in his 21 outings. While he still has four years left on his existing deal, there is a €25m release clause which could lead to his departure this summer.

Tottenham are one of the clubs that are keen on his signature as they look to strengthen the goalkeeping position. Guglielmo Vicario did a great job as Spurs’ first-choice shot-stopper last season but certain weaknesses in his game came into the limelight. While Garcia would start as a backup to the 27-year-old, he could certainly compete with the Italian for a place in the starting XI.

But, they will face competition for his signature from Arsenal who are looking for a backup shot-stopper who can cover for David Raya with Aaron Ramsdale expected to be on the move. Tottenham seem ready to battle their arch-rivals in the pursuit of his signature. With Espanyol unlikely to sanction his sale for anything less than his release clause, it will be interesting to see if Spurs are willing to pay that big a fee for someone who might not be a regular starter.
