Pierre-Emile Højbjerg wants to part ways with Tottenham amidst interest from Borussia Dortmund.

Højbjerg has a year left on his deal with the North London club but the defensive midfielder has no intentions of continuing at Tottenham.

He has fallen down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou and according to Florian Plettenberg, the Danish international is keen on parting ways with Spurs and there is interest in his services from Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund.

While he has been an integral part of their first team since arriving in the summer of 2020 from Southampton, things took a turn last season. He was involved in 36 league games but he was on the pitch for just over 1,300 minutes. Frustrated by the lack of game time and in search of regular first-team action, Hojbjerg has decided to leave Tottenham.

German giants Dortmund have been linked with the 28-year-old. They are looking to reinforce their squad ahead of next season. They want to add more quality to their midfield and have been working on a potential deal to bring in Pascal Groß to the club.
