Tottenham Hotspur have submitted an offer worth £42 million for Real Sociedad star Takefusa Kubo.

The North London club are looking at ways to further bolster their attack ahead of next season. While Spurs did a decent job last time out, Ange Postecoglou wants more firepower in attack as he looks to challenge the best teams in the country.

Takefusa Kubo’s impressive rise at Real Sociedad has put him on the wishlist of Tottenham. According to a report via TEAMtalk, they have already submitted a £42 million offer to acquire the services of the versatile Japanese forward.

While things didn’t really go according to plan for Kubo at Real Madrid, the move to Sociedad in 2022 has helped him establish himself in the Spanish top flight. The 23-year-old”s consistent performances have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs.

Kubo prefers playing out wide on the right but he can even feature on the left as well as a number 10 when needed. He has managed to impress the Tottenham recruitment chiefs with his performances and they want him at their disposal ahead of next season.

Spurs have already submitted an initial bid worth £42 million for the versatile star. While it will result in Sociedad making a significant profit, Tottenham might have to put forward an improved offer to land him.

Tottenham are undecided on a move for former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The North London club are looking to reinforce their attack in the summer after an impressive start to life under Ange Postecoglou. Signing a new striker is one of the priorities for Tottenham and according to a report from The Telegraph, they are aware of Tammy Abraham’s availability but are yet to decide on whether to make a move for him.

Despite parting ways with Harry Kane last summer, Spurs decided against signing a replacement.

While his departure to Bayern Munich did come as a huge blow to Postecoglou who had just taken over at the club, the former Celtic boss managed to cope with his absence. Son Heung-min featured as a striker in the majority of their matches and he did a commendable job.

The Australian manager is now keen on adding more firepower to his attack as he looks to take the next step. He wants to bring in a top-quality striker and they have been linked with Tammy Abraham.

The former Chelsea striker had a sensational debut season at AS Roma but things have gone downhill post that. He suffered an ACL injury before the start of the 2023/24 season and was out of action for close to 10 months.

While he did make a return towards the end of last season and still has two years left on his deal at the Italian club, they are ready to cash in on him amidst their financial crisis. Roma haven’t set an asking price yet but the report suggests the 26-year-old could be available for around £20 million.

Spurs are in the market for a new number nine and they are aware of Abraham’s availability but they are yet to make a firm decision on whether to push for his signature or not.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton mainstay Amadou Onana amidst interest from Arsenal.

Ange Postecoglou is looking to further reinforce his squad ahead of next season. After a reasonably impressive first season at the North London club, the Australian manager seeks more depth in the centre of the park and according to Ignazio Genuardi, Tottenham have entered the race for the services of Arsenal target Amadou Onana.

The Belgian midfielder has established himself as one of the mainstays in the Everton first team since arriving at the club in 2022. The 22-year-old has been a consistent performer for both club and country and his work hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Arsenal are one of the clubs who are quite interested in his services. After once again falling short in the Premier League title race, Mikel Arteta wants to further bolster his squad. He wants someone who can form a dependable partnership with Declan Rice and Onana is quite high on their wishlist.

While the Gunners are positioning themselves to make a move for him, they will face stiff competition from rivals Tottenham for his services. Postecoglou seeks more depth and quality in the centre of the park and with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg likely to leave, the Belgian international could come in as an ideal replacement.

He is an integral part of Everton’s first team and his contract with them runs until the summer of 2027 but they could still sanction his departure amidst their financial struggles. The Toffees could let him leave for a fee of around €60 million.

Onana will add physicality and defensive cover to the Spurs midfield. The opportunity to play for the Londoners will be an exciting option for him as well. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done.

Tottenham take first step to douse Romero to Madrid transfer speculations - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur might face challenges in retaining their star defender Cristian Romero this summer.

European giants Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing Romero for a potential acquisition in the upcoming transfer window.

Despite these rumours, Spurs are distancing themselves from claims linking the Argentine defender to a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Football.London, the Lilywhites are dismissing these reports and remain committed to keeping Romero.

Currently on international duty with Argentina for the upcoming Copa America, the 26-year-old centre-back is reportedly being monitored by Real Madrid during the tournament.

However, Tottenham views Romero as untouchable, recognizing his importance in their backline.

The World Cup-winning defender played a crucial role under Ange Postecoglou last season, making 33 Premier League appearances and scoring five goals, the most for a defender in the division.

Since arriving in North London in 2021, Romero has gradually become a key figure at the club. His performances have steadily improved, and he was appointed one of the club’s vice-captains last year.

Real Madrid, dealing with a defensive crisis due to injuries to their primary centre-backs like Eder Militao and David Alaba last season, might be looking to bolster their defence with Romero’s signing.

However, Tottenham’s focus is on building a competitive team under Postecoglou, and retaining a player of Romero’s calibre is a top priority.

Barcelona have recently shifted their approach towards signing players on free transfers.

Last summer, the Blaugranas secured Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez for free, and might now be poised to sign another free agent.

However, earlier today, they have reportedly turned down a chance to sign a midfielder on a free.

According to Diario Sport, citing Jijantes, Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman’s contract was mutually terminated a year ahead of schedule, recently with Spurs, leaving him without a club.

Ndombele’s representatives have proposed the 27-year-old to Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Ndombele, once considered as a promising talent, saw his tenure at Tottenham marred by inconsistency and unfulfilled potential following his €62 million move from Lyon in 2019.

Despite high expectations, the 27-year-old struggled to make a significant impact and endured underwhelming loan spells, including a stint at Galatasaray where he started only four games.

However, despite Ndombele’s availability on a free transfer, Barcelona’s hierarchy has opted not to pursue the French midfielder.

The club reportedly views other options in the market as higher priorities at this stage of their transfer planning.

Report: Tottenham player has reached an agreement with European giants; clubs to now discuss transfer fee - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Brazil and Tottenham Hotspur right back Emerson Royal has long been on the wish list of multiple European clubs, ever since he lost his place to Pedro Porro.

His style of play does not suit the one Ange Postecoglou has instilled at the club, which is a fast pace attacking style with ‘inverted fullbacks’ playing a key role.

However, defensively, Royal is decent and the former Barcelona defender can fulfil his potential with a move elsewhere.

Recent report from La Gazetta Dello Sport suggests that the defender could be on his way to Italian giants AC Milan who have been very keen to secure his services. The report claims that the player has reached an agreement with the Italian club.

The defender could prove to be the perfect fit for the Rossonneri because of his pace, strength and defensive capabilities.

He can also play as a centre-back and left-back if needed, and can prove to be a versatile addition to the AC Milan squad.

Tottenham were keen to offload Emerson Royal ever since the appointment of Ange Postecoglu, as he wanted to overhaul the Lily White’s squad and the Brazilian wasn’t part of his long term plans.

A number of clubs have been linked with him including both Milan clubs as well as Saudi Arabia but it appears that a move to AC Milan is edging closer.

All that is remaining now is for the Italian side to come to an agreement with Tottenham regarding the transfer fee.

It has been recently reported that Spurs are looking for €20m for the Brazilian.

As the transfer negotiations progress, Tottenham fans will be eager to see how the club reinvests the funds from potential sales, aiming to bolster their squad and align more closely with Postecoglou’s tactical demands.
