Ndiaye has been the star of the show at Everton for the last couple of seasons, scoring 17 goals and supplying four assists in 73 total appearances.

However, the next few days could be his final on Merseryside with Tottenham now reportedly eyeing up a deal, and potentially offering up Richarlison in a swap deal.

And it seems that the Toffees have the option to pull off another similar deal before the 11pm transfer cut-off on Tuesday.

Iliman Ndiaye exit talks continue as surprise Richarlison option emerges

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Spurs are eyeing up Ndiaye as an option to bolster their attack in the coming days.

However, Aouna also reports that Ndiaye is also in talks with Manchester City and Jack Grealish could yet make the move from the Etihad to Hill Dickinson.

He started Tottenham's Premier League opening-day defeat to Brentford last week but was an unused substitute in the mid-week Carabao Cup win over Charlton.

But could that be the final time he finds himself in a Spurs matchday squad?

What's the likelihood this deal gets done?

Everton almost seem to have a couple of choices here, and that's because they have themselves a real gem in Ndiaye.

Obviously, no one wants to lose the Senegal international. However, he's someone who is good enough to be playing for a top Premier League club and also playing in European competition.

Spurs don't have that, but they do have a 29-year-old Brazilian forward who's proven he can score goals for fun for Everton and has a real rapport with the fans.

Grealish, on the other hand, is a bit older, a bit less reliable due to injury issues and could cost more money in terms of wages.

However, there's no reason why Everton cannot get both of these players back before the deadline passes on Tuesday

If Ndiaye goes to Spurs, there's no way that it'll be a straight swap. The North London club would be expected to part with a big amount of cash on top of Richarlison if they want this deal to work.

What we know as Everton give Jamel Beggs contract shot weeks after Tottenham exit

What we know as Everton give Jamel Beggs contract shot weeks after Tottenham exit - Goodison News
Description

Everton look set to give Jamel Beggs a shot at earning a contract just weeks after his Tottenham exit.

Beggs is an 18-year-old midfielder who had spent 11 years on the North London club's books.

The teenage talent played 35 times in the U18s Premier League last season, but he was officially let go last month.

Beggs had only signed his first professional contract with Spurs a year earlier, having risen through the various age grades.

While his time at Tottenham is now over, he may get a second chance to prove himself at a Premier League club.

That is amid an update shared on Tuesday evening ahead of Everton Under-21s' clash with Shrewsbury Town.

Jamel Beggs one of two Everton U21s trialists

Everton included an unnamed trialist in their starting XI, and one on the bench, for Tuesday night's friendly with Shrewsbury.

While the name of one of those went unreported, the other - Beggs - was quickly shared via social media.

Everton will cast a close eye over the Englishman with a view of keeping him on permanently.

The contest at Croud Meadow is scheduled to kick off at 7:30pm BST.

It is the first friendly Shrewsbury, who compete in the fourth tier of English football, have contested this summer.

The Bristol Rovers youngster was also wanted by Arsenal and Fulham, as well as Championship side Stoke City.

However, it looks as though the Toffees will have first dibs on the Wales age-grade international.

And there is widespread talk that Dewsbury is the second trialist listed in Everton's squad against Shrewsbury.

That will soon become clear, but it may well be that both youngsters do enough to stay on at Finch Farm for the long term should they impress.

Neither are going to be close to first-team contention just yet, but supporters do not need telling just how important it is to plan for the long term.
