Ange Postecoglou’s final few months at Tottenham had it all, perfect for the movie screen.

From the horrifying scenes in the Premier League, somehow finishing 17th, to the joy and ecstasy of lifting the Europa League, Spurs fans needed the summer break.

Despite promising that, like all good TV series, the third instalment is better than the second, the Australian was sacked by Daniel Levy.

It looks as though the golden hills of Hollywood are calling afterall, though, with an instant return to management on the cards for Postecoglou.

Postecoglou set for Los Angeles

With talks emerging in “Hollywood circles” about Postecoglou and LAFC, a perfect return to management could be on the cards.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Sami Mokbel of the BBC later shared that an approach has been made for the former Celtic man to head across to the States, where he could manage Hugo Lloris.

Current LAFC boss, Steve Cherundolo, is returning to Germany at the end of the MLS season, opening the door for a new manager, possibly Postecoglou.

Premier League clubs were said to be sniffing around his services already, with Leeds even mentioned as the “perfect” landing spot at Elland Road.

Frank breathes sigh of relief at Tottenham

Should Postecoglou head to the States for a new challenge, Frank will be relieved.

With the Dane now in charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, there would have been nothing worse than Big Ange rocking back up with a Premier League rival and stealing three points.

Rubbing shoulders with the stars of the movie screen would suit Postecoglou, who was always painted as the villain by the media, and sometimes even his own fans.

That sometimes looked like a pantomime villain, though, like in the defeat at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, when he was left red-faced.

One thing is for sure: Postecoglou will always be remembered as the one who ended the major trophy drought in North London, and he will be welcomed forever back at Spurs.
