Liverpool recall Trent Alexander-Arnold for Tottenham title clash as injury blow revealed
Full team news from Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been recalled to the Liverpool starting line-up for the afternoon the club could clinch the Premier League title. Alexander-Arnold marked his return after almost six weeks out with an ankle injury by stepping off the bench to score the winner at Leicester City last weekend.
And with Conor Bradley having picked up an injury, the 26-year-old will start at right-back with Liverpool needing a point at home to Tottenham Hotspur to claim a record-equalling 20th championship.
Bradley is understood to have picked up a knock in training with the medical staff taking no risks over his fitness. The youngster is expected to return to training next week.
Andy Robertson has been recalled to the left-back role in place of Kostas Tsimikas in the only other change by Reds boss Arne Slot from the team that won at the King Power Stadium.
Alisson Becker is in goal, with Ibrahima Konate partnering skipper Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.
In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister continue in the deeper roles with Dominik Szoboszlai the number 10.
And up front, Luis Diaz remains down the centre with Cody Gakpo on the left and to- scorer Mohamed Salah on the right.
Federico Chiesa is among the substitutes after being left out of the squad against Leicester.
