Defender Alice Sombath made her first appearance of the campaign after coming on as a second half substitute in our 7-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Although our Head Coach said that a few players picked up a few ‘bumps and bruises’ in the clash at Selhurst Park, he revealed that everyone who featured in the London derby will be available once again for tomorrow night’s cup game.
“Exactly like we were after Palace,” he told us, speaking to SPURSPLAY in pre-match interview. “Some bumps and bruises throughout the game, but nothing that rules anyone out and making sure we can continue having a healthy group and full availability. So, there’s no changes at all.”
When asked about Alice getting her first minutes in Spurs colours, he added: “I think you always want to get people on the pitch to experience what it’s like to play in the WSL.
“But in that moment, I thought it would be good for Alice to come into the game, and in that situation with the goal lead we had, it was to give her the opportunity to come in more relaxed, more calm, and gain some experience around the players."
