The countdown is on to Leeds United’s first game back after Christmas - ahead of which the supercomputer has made a big Whites call in its new predicted final Premier League table and points.

Daniel Farke’s Whites will resume their quest for top-flight survival with Sunday afternoon’s trip to a Sunderland side who are still riding high in sixth place.

Leeds, though, have been ticking along nicely themselves of late, a haul of eight points from the club’s last four games taking them up to 16th place and six points clear of the dropzone.

Farke’s men are six points clear of third-bottom West Ham, one point above fourth-bottom Nottingham Forest and now only three points adrift of 14th-placed Tottenham Hotspur and 15th-placed Bournemouth, both of whom have been sliding down the table of late.

There is then another one-point gap up to Newcastle United, Brentford and Fulham.

Ahead of the first games back after Christmas, the supercomputer from CasinoHawks has unveiled its new predicted final table and points which features particularly big Leeds, Spurs and Forest and calls.

Here, in reverse order, is the full new rundown.
