The North London team went into the final day of last season unsure of whether they would stay in the top flight or end up relegated - eventually managing to keep their spot following a win against Everton.
But their fortunes haven't changed with the new season, with the team yet to win a single game and currently sitting third from bottom in the table.
In fact, their last win was the match that kept them in the Premier league - a 1-0 victory over Everton on the 24th of May.
Now, after starting the football banter on its social pages, Domino’s has gone a step further and placed a giant screen outside the team's stadium highlighting the staggering 32.5 million pizzas it has sold since the club last won a game.
Ryan Kenton, a spokesperson for the pizza brand, said: “We’re sorry Spurs fans, we really didn’t want to have to bring back our pizza counter.”
The comedic dig is the second iteration of the brand teasing the football club, following on from its last pizza counter back in 2025, which unveiled the number of pizza’s they had delivered since Tottenham last won a trophy.
And despite scoring in the Cup earlier this week, the Lilywhites’ season goes from bad to worse, still searching for that first league goal and win, leaving the club sitting fourth from bottom of the league table.
The last time the team were transferred to a lower division was the 1976-77 football League First Division season, when they finished 22nd under manager Keith Burkinshaw.
Having struggled defensively, losing 21 matches, despite fan favourites playing for the team at the time including Pat Jennings, Glenn Hoddle, and Steve Perryman.
Yet the team bounced back straight away, securing promotion in the 1977-78 season.
Ryan Kenton added: “We know supporting Spurs comes with its ups and downs and all eyes will be on the team against Aston Villa on Saturday.
“But if our pizza counter helps to motivate them to finally score that elusive league goal then they can thank us afterwards.”
