Everton may have just been handed a transfer warning by Fabrizio Romano.
A huge summer awaits Everton in the transfer window with plenty of work needing to be done.
But it will not just be signings which make the headlines on Merseyside as David Moyes prepares to wave goodbye to numerous players.
Everton are looking to address four key positions this summer as they look to really improve the quality of their squad.
This will be the first opportunity the Friedkins have had to really put some money into the side.
However, Everton are also facing a battle to keep some of their top players at the club with interest gathering from other Premier League clubs.
After being appointed earlier this year, Moyes has been keen to sign a new full-back for Everton.
The Toffees have a real lack of depth at left-back and Tottenham Hotspur could soon see their options reduced, too.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are braced for interest from Manchester City in their left-back Destiny Udogie.
The Italian is said to have real interest from Pep Guardiola and his side ahead of the summer transfer window.
This is bad news for Everton as, according to The Boy Hotspur, Tottenham have shown interest in Vitaliy Mykolenko as they also look to bolster their depth.
The 25-year-old is the only senior left-back Moyes actually has available to select at Goodison.
Mykolenko did return on the weekend after picking up an injury scare during the Merseyside Derby earlier in the month.
Tottenham may now increase Vitaliy Mykolenko interest
Everton are keen to hand Mykolenko a new contract after a solid showing from the Ukraine international in what has been a turbulent campaign.
However, this may come under pressure if Spurs are going to find themselves in a position where they need a new left-back.
Interestingly, Everton do hold interest in Richarlison, which could potentially open up some room for negotiation.
But Everton are not in a position to be offloading Mykolenko due to the lack of options in their squad.
Nathan Patterson played at left-back against Arsenal in Mykolenko’s absence, and although he impressed, he is probably not the long-term solution Moyes is looking for.
