The full-back joined us from Brazilian Serie A side Santos in January.
Born in Maua, Sao Paolo, Souza made his debut off the bench against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 7 February. He made four appearances for us last season.
Capped at Under-17 level by Brazil, Souza represented his country at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in November, 2023.
