Tottenham manager Igor Tudor might be given a little extra time after his side showed significantly more fight against Liverpool on Sunday, and he'll be thanking some of his players for potentially saving his job.
Spurs conceded against Liverpool early on as Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick found its way into the back of the net, with Guglielmo Vicario getting a hand to it but failing to keep it out.
Tottenham looked threatening throughout, but it felt like it wasn't going to be their day, until the final moments.
Richarlison was fed through on goal in the final minutes, and he dispatched past Alisson Becker to secure a point for his side, with the Brazilian looking delighted, not only for his team but also due to his Everton connections.
Whether Tudor will keep his job remains to be seen, but the result at Anfield will have done him no harm.
Igor Tudor Has Tottenham Defender to Thank
One man Tudor has to thank is defender Kevin Danso. The centre-back, who has come under plenty of criticism this season, deserves a lot of credit for his performance.
Alasdair Gold even gave Danso an 8/10 rating for his display, suggesting that he was Tottenham's 'best defender by a mile'.
"Spurs' best defender by a mile. Limped around, battling for everything. 8."
Richarlison will take a lot of the plaudits after scoring the equaliser at Anfield, and rightly so, but credit has to be given to Danso, who was crucial for them at the back, preventing the Reds from scoring from open play.
Whether Danso's performance or the result overall will save Tudor his job remains to be seen, but there's no doubt they showed more fight during that game than they did in all of the others combined, hinting that the manager is starting to get his message across to the players.
Danso Proves People Wrong
Danso has proved a lot of Spurs fans wrong with that performance, after the defender received plenty of criticism this season.
The centre-back was even limping around at times during the game, showing he's willing to put his body on the line to try and get a result.
That's the kind of spirit and fight that Spurs need if they want to remain in the Premier League, and he's certainly earned himself a regular spot in the starting XI if he's going to continue with performances like that.
It's now a waiting game for Tottenham supporters to see if Tudor is given the boot, but it feels like he could be given at least the Atletico Madrid game to show this weekend's result wasn't a one-off.
