Tottenham are all set to appoint Igor Tudor as their new manager and he has already spoken about the North London club in the past.
Tudor will come in on an interim basis following the sacking of Thomas Frank on Wednesday morning.
Spurs have only brought the Croatian in until the end of the season, when they will then reassess their options.
The 47-year-old was most recently manager of Juventus, but was sacked in October last year after a poor seven-month spell with the Italian giants.

Igor Tudor praised ‘very strong’ Tottenham
As well as Juventus, Tudor has also managed the likes of Lazio, Udinese and Olympique Marseille.
In fact, faced Tottenham in the Champions League while in charge of Marseille back in 2022, with the North London outfit coming out 2-1 victors.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored a last-minute winner for Spurs, driving through the middle and smashing a shot in off the post.
That result knocked the French side out of the competition, while Tottenham advanced to the last 16 as group winners.
Speaking after the game, Tudor was full of praise for the Lilywhites, labelling them as ‘very strong’.
As reported in RMC Sport, he said: “”We played a good match against a very strong opponent. It wasn’t enough,” said Igor Tudor in a press conference. At the moment, it’s not going in our favour and football doesn’t even give us a little bit of what we deserve. It annoys me, it makes me sad.”
Igor Tudor loves Luka Modric
Tudor has also spoken very highly of fellow countryman and former Tottenham star Luka Modric in the past.
Ahead of Juventus’ Club World Cup game against Real Madrid last summer, the 47-year-old revealed his deep admiration for the veteran midfielder.
Speaking about Modric, Tudor said: “In a country like ours, with fewer than 4 million people, someone like him is born every 300 years in Croatia,” Tudor said. “He’s a source of pride for the entire country because he’s a great player, but as a person, he’s the same—maybe people don’t know that,” (Managing Madrid).
Tudor will quickly gain the admiration of Tottenham supporters if he keeps speaking so well of the club.
However, in order to keep the fans onside, he will have to deliver results on the pitch, with Spurs just five points clear of the relegation zone as it stands.
