Everton are in the market to bring Richarlison back to Merseyside from Tottenham Hotspur.

It has now been three years since Richarlison made the move down to north London and it is not one that has really paid off.

Sky Sports have claimed Everton are keen to sign Richarlison this summer but a loan deal could be their best option.

David Moyes and the Friedkins hold some concerns over the striker’s fitness record which has been dreadful since joining Spurs.

However, the former Everton man was in action on Thursday night as his return from injury is managed by Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs have endured a shocking season but have just booked their ticket to the Europa League final and Richarlison’s celebrations spoke volumes.

How Richarlison celebrated Tottenham’s Europa League win

Richarlison has been posting on social media about Everton recently which has certainly added fuel to the fire when it comes to his future.

But Thursday night was one for celebration as Spurs look to end their 17-year trophy drought.

MORE EVERTON STORIES

Having played 60 minutes of the game in Norway, Richarlison was front and centre as the players celebrated the victory with the 400 travelling fans.

The Brazilian was spotted grabbing a Spurs scarf and holding it above his head as he celebrated with the small away section.

Some Everton fans are keen to re-sign Richarlison this summer as they know just how deep his connection with the club is.

However, the scenes on Thursday night showed he has not quite chucked in the towel with Spurs just yet.

It has been a terrible season for the Lilywhites, but Richarlison has the opportunity to make history by earning them a third European trophy this season.

Richarlison could become a Tottenham hero

Everton are prioritising a striker in the summer transfer window and it is apparent they want to bring back the 27-year-old.

But Spurs reaching the final does add an interesting twist on his future plans.

Richarlison played 60 minutes against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night and he started the first leg of their semi-final.

Clearly, Ange Postecoglou is trying to integrate him back into the starting XI ahead of the final.

It will be interesting to see how a possible triumph in Bilbao against Manchester United could affect Richarlison’s future.
