According to reports from Italy, former Juventus manager Igor Tudor has now responded to Tottenham’s offer of a short-term contract.

Tottenham are stepping up their search for an interim coach as they look to seal an appointment from Monday.

This morning, it emerged that Spurs had reached out to Igor Tudor, who has been out of work for the last four months after parting ways with Juventus earlier this season.

It subsequently emerged that the Lilywhites had offered a five-month contract and were waiting for his response, and the Croat has now responded.

Igor Tudor accepts a short-term contract at Tottenham

Gianluca Di Marzio has now revealed that Tudor has verbally agreed a contract with Tottenham to take the reins of the club until June.

This has also been backed up by Fabrizio Romano, who revealed that the former Juve boss has informed the North London club that he is ready to take charge until the summer.

Romano added that negotiations between Tudor’s camp and Spurs are now at ‘advanced stages’.

He wrote on X: “Igor Tudor has informed Tottenham he’s ready to accept a short-term deal until June as THFC interim coach. Negotiations at advanced stages, as revealed by Matteo Moretto today. Roberto De Zerbi and Mauricio Pochettino, top candidates for a permanent job in the summer.”

What should Spurs fans expect from Tudor if he is appointed?

Tudor is vastly experienced as a manager, having taken charge of teams in Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Italy and France.

His most recent experience in Juve started well but ended poorly, with the Bianconeri having a run of eight matches without a win before they sacked him in October.

Across his 24 matches in Turin, Juve won 10, drew eight and lost six, giving him a win percentage of 41.67.
