West Ham United are confident of completing a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Manor Solomon.

Earlier this week, Solomon's agent admitted his client is close to leaving Tottenham permanently, before name-dropping West Ham.
The 27-year-old has spent the last two seasons out on loan, featuring for Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina.

It was for Leeds in the Championship where Solomon has impressed most, scoring 10 league goals to help fire the club back to the Premier League.
But he ultimately struggled to make an impact in Spain and Italy last season, scoring just three league goals for both clubs combined.
The winger has impressed for Spurs during pre-season but has been told by Roberto De Zerbi that he does not have a future in north London.

West Ham 'confident' of Solomon deal
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, West Ham are advancing to the final stages of a deal to bring Manor Solomon to London Stadium.
He claims the deal is proceeding and that the Hammers are confident.
It comes after there were reports that negotiations had stalled.

The Athletic reported that West Ham had offered Tottenham £5m for Solomon's signature, but were refusing to pay the bonuses Spurs wanted to include in the deal.
One of them involved West Ham winning promotion this season.
However, it seems those issues have since been ironed out.
Along with Romano's report, outlets in Israel say the deal has already been finalised and will complete his switch to east London this weekend.
They believe the deal is worth a little under £10m, which includes promotion-related bonuses.

Solomon adds pace and creativity to West Ham's attack
As seen in Solomon's highlights from Spurs' friendly against Auckland, Solomon is a player who has pace, trickery and creativity in abundance.
The winger loves to run at defenders, often looking to get to the byline before putting in crosses.
He's also a very forward-thinking player, looking to turn his man and make forward passes wherever possible.
West Ham have lacked that kind of attacking threat in pre-season, so it's little wonder Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on bringing him to London Stadium.
With Jarrod Bowen offering similar on the right, Solomon coming in to replace Crysencio Summerville on the left adds an exciting dynamic to West Ham's attack.
All that's left now is to add a creative midfielder and another striker to support Taty Castellanos up front.
Then Nuno's promotion-winning attack will be complete.
