Liverpool are no longer interested in signing Micky Van de Ven from Tottenham this summer amid a rumoured £100m price tag.

Over the past couple of weeks, Spurs Web has relayed several reports suggesting that Van de Ven could leave Tottenham even if they stay up this season.

The 24-year-old is thought to be eager to swap Spurs for a club that competes regularly in the Champions League.

In fact, some sources have said that Van de Ven’s head has already been turned ahead of the summer due to interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe. His price tag is rumoured to be £100m.

Liverpool are not likely to make a move for Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven

Over recent months, several outlets have said that Van de Ven is seen as a ‘very attractive’ option by Liverpool, who are keen to strengthen their backline this summer.

However, journalist Dominic King has now revealed that the Tottenham Hotspur centre-back is currently not on the Reds’ wishlist.

When asked about the speculation linking Van de Ven with a move to Anfield, King told talkSPORT: “From what I’ve heard, I don’t believe they’re in for him. I would never say anything definitively about a football transfer because things can change.

“I would believe that he would want to come to Liverpool. That’s from what I’ve heard, but I’m not sure that the feeling is totally mutual at this moment in time.”

Real Madrid may also not prioritise a move for Van de Ven

Real Madrid are another club that has been linked heavily with a move for the Netherlands international over recent weeks.

In fact, it has even been suggested by Spanish outlets that Van de Ven is waiting for Los Blancos to call and is keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
