Luka Vuskovic is currently on loan at German club Hamburger SV, and he could end up joining Barcelona in the summer.

The 19-year-old Croatian defender has been excellent in Germany, and he has established himself as one of the finest young players in Europe right now. Naturally, he’s on the radar of multiple clubs. According to Spanish publication SPORT, his agent Pini Zahavi has now offered the player to Barcelona. The Spanish champions are keen on the talented Young defender, but a deal will not be easy. The player is valued at €40 million, and Tottenham do not want to sell him.

Tottenham want to keep Luka Vuskovic

They are hoping that the 19-year-old will play for them next season. He is one of the brightest young talents in Europe right now, and losing him would be devastating. However, the player has reservations about returning to Tottenham and playing for them. The fact that they chose to send him out on loan immediately after signing him has not gone down well with the defender.

In addition, the opportunity to play for a club like Barcelona can be hard to turn down. It will be interesting to see what the player decides.

Barcelona could use Vuskovic

Barcelona need more quality and depth in the defensive unit, and the 19-year-old would be a long-term acquisition. Meanwhile, Tottenham also need more depth in the defensive unit, and keeping the Croatian at the club would be ideal for them. They cannot afford to lose their best young players if they want to build a formidable team for the future.

Tottenham have had a disappointing season, and they are fighting for survival in the Premier League. The young defender might want to compete at a higher level. It will be interesting to see if Barcelona is willing to pay up for him.
