Manchester United are now plotting a move for one of Tottenham’s exciting U17 strikers, with the youngster set to leave North London this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur’s U17 side showed exactly what they are made of once again this season, after they secured the Premier League Cup trophy for the second time in three years.
Indeed, Luca Williams-Barnett was impressive in the final against Charlton Athletic, bagging a hat-trick for his U17 side.
However, the latest reports suggest that another forward from Tottenham’s U17 ranks has caught the attention of a Premier League rival.
Manchester United eye Dexter Oliver transfer from Tottenham
The Lilywhite Rose reports on X (formerly Twitter) that Dexter Oliver is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur, with Manchester United attempting to sign him.
Oliver has been handed a two-year scholarship by Spurs, but the youngster is yet to put pen to paper. Manchester United are well aware of Oliver’s delay, and are looking to take advantage of it by attempting to bring him up north to join their ranks in Carrington.
The Europa League finalists are not the only ones interested in the teenager, with the Lilywhite rose also stating that Manchester City are monitoring the situation closely.
