Manchester United have now entered the race to sign £30m Vanderson from Monaco this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur also showing interest.

It has been reported that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing 23-year-old Monaco right-back Vanderson this summer.

The Ligue 1 side are said to be open to parting ways with the Brazilian, though they would only entertain offers in the region of £30m.

Barcelona have also been linked, however, it is believed Monaco would prefer to deal with Tottenham due to tax considerations that make a move to England more favourable.

Manchester United weighing up Vanderson move despite Tottenham interest

Manchester United have now emerged as another contender in the race to sign Vanderson. According to Givemesport, the Red Devils are currently weighing up a potential move for the former Gremio defender.

United are reportedly evaluating whether to bring in a new right-back during the summer window, and Vanderson’s situation has caught their attention as they look to refresh their defensive options.

Well aware of his quality and potential, United are said to be seriously considering a swoop. However, they are not the only Premier League side monitoring developments, which could trigger a battle for his signature.

Spurs still leading the race for Vanderson despite interest from rival clubs

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be the frontrunners in the race for Vanderson, despite reported interest from Manchester City, Liverpool, and Barcelona.

Spurs are actively looking to add competition for Pedro Porro, who has delivered 13 goal contributions this season, and the Monaco defender has emerged as a top target.

The north London club are keen to strengthen ahead of the new campaign and view Vanderson as a viable option.

Monaco, for their part, are willing to sell the player, who still has three years remaining on his contract, but only if their £30m valuation is met. Barcelona’s interest is still said to be serious and could complicate Tottenham’s pursuit of the Brazilian.
