According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool’s interest in the 25-year-old appears particularly significant, with the Merseyside club considering their long-term defensive plans.
Virgil van Dijk is entering the latter stages of his career, and Liverpool are understood to be exploring potential options who could eventually take over from their experienced captain.
Van de Ven’s ability to operate on the left side of central defence, combined with his Premier League experience, makes him a profile that could suit Liverpool’s requirements under head coach Andoni Iraola.
