Tottenham Hotspur are open to selling attacker Richarlison this summer, and one of his suitors has stepped forward for his signature (h/t Terra).

Palmeiras are interested in the Brazilian and could make a concrete offer for him.

Dubbed an ‘amazing talent’ when he first arrived, his time at the club has been underwhelming. Niggling injury issues have made him unavailable in crucial times.

There has been interest from Turkey, the Saudi Pro League and Brazil. However, it remains unclear where the Spurs attacker will play next season.

Dominic Solanke will continue as the first-choice striker, but Richarlison’s potential departure would force Spurs back into the market.

There have been talks about signing Brentford ace Yoane Wissa, but the £50 million valuation is a sticking point.

Paying that sum for a nearly 29-year-old back-up striker makes no sense.

If Tottenham cannot get Brentford to lower their asking price, the club should consider shifting focus to Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha.

The 22-year-old Dutchman is tailor-made for the direct, transition-heavy football Thomas Frank favours.

A former Sturm Graz standout, Emegha netted 14 goals last season to fire Strasbourg into the Europa Conference League.

He is a powerful forward with pace and upside, and the lure of Champions League football could make Spurs an attractive step up.

Strasbourg may be willing to negotiate a deal for under £40m. Chelsea are interested, but they are stacked in attack.

Spurs need a younger, more affordable understudy. Emegha fits the bill.
