Pape Matar Sarr helped Senegal secure their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
Senegal needed a win against Mauritania in Diamniadio tonight and they made no mistake of that, scoring four without reply to seal their spot at next summer's showpiece event.
Pape Matar Sarr was named amongst the substitutes for Senegal before he was brought into the action on 68 minutes with his side cruising at 3-0 thanks to a double from Sadio Mane and a strike from Iliman Ndiaye.
Habibou Diallo then scored a late fourth to make sure of the win.
It was Pape's 35th international cap while he is the 10th Spurs man to see his nation book their spot at the World Cup.
