Tottenham Hotspur look to continue their home winning streak against Crystal Palace, with Pierre Sage under growing pressure to deliver results.

Roberto De Zerbi has started to build a run of form with his side after securing six points from wins over Coventry and London rivals Chelsea, whom they convincingly beat 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, the first time they have won at their ground since 2018 under Mauricio Pochettino.

Ahead of the match, despite a major win last week, the Italian said: "We have not achieved our goal. We want to be happy at the end of the season. Now we have to push; we have to stay focused, improve the spirit, the appetite to win games in a row."

The midfield performance was a significant reason for their win at Stamford Bridge, so the Spurs boss will be encouraged by the big money signings of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes going forward, with the potential to form a strong partnership.

After a tricky start to the season for the Italian, a resurgence could be on the horizon for the Lilywhites; however, they'll need to turn around their fortunes in this fixture, as the Eagles have won the last two games when they've met in N17.

Crystal Palace are sitting one position above the relegation zone, struggling to build momentum in the Premier League under Sage, who has already been under pressure from fans with five defeats in eight games in the league.

However, in midweek, they got past Fulham in the Carabao Cup after an Eddie Nketiah first-half goal was enough to advance to the quarter-final at Craven Cottage, now set to host Sunderland in the competition in December.

Crystal Palace fans were fully supportive of Sage as they chanted his name after the win, and he was very appreciative of the gesture but reaffirmed that he preferred "when they are behind the whole team rather than me alone."

A crucial game awaits for the Frenchman, and ahead of the clash he said: "Every point smells good. We will play all of these games to take points. We aren't in a position to choose one game over another."

The South London club will be without Ismaila Sarr until after the November international break, while Tosin Adarabioyo, Lucas Bergvall, and Mykhailo Mudryk are unavailable due to injuries for Tottenham.

The match will kick off on Saturday, October 31st, at 17:30, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
