Hayley Raso was on target for Australia in a 3-0 friendly win over Slovenia in Perth on Thursday.
The forward stepped off the bench a quarter-of-an-hour from time and made her mark with a fine strike to round off the scoring in the 87th minute.
Collecting a header from fellow substitute Charli Grant, who had only been on the pitch for a matter of seconds, Hayley roamed forward and clipped a superb left-footed shot into the bottom corner from distance.
Clare Hunt – the third Spur in the Matildas squad – played the full 90 minutes at the back.
Elsewhere, Luana Buhler played the second half for Switzerland in a 4-1 home win over Czechia in preparation for the upcoming European Championship.
Eveliina Summanen was also in pre-Euros action, completing a full shift in midfield for Finland as they lost 2-1 away to the Netherlands. Olga Ahtinen was an unused substitute for the visitors, while Lize Kop was on the bench for the home side.
Amanda Nilden and Matilda Vinberg, meanwhile, were unused substitutes for Sweden in their 2-0 victory in Norway.
