An update from Brazil has revealed what Savinho’s thoughts are regarding a move to Tottenham and how soon a deal is likely to be concluded between the North London side and Manchester City.
It is fair to say that the despair around the transfer window has turned into excitement for Spurs fans over the last 24 hours.
That is thanks in large part to the fact that Tottenham are now trying to tie up a deal for Savinho, just a year on from his move from Girona to Manchester City.
It was revealed by Fabrizio Romano on Monday that Savinho’s move to Tottenham is very much on as the player is in favour of the transfer, and that has now been backed up by an update from Brazil.
Savinho has already said ‘yes’ to Tottenham
This update comes from Globo Esporte who say that the 21-year-old has already said ‘yes’ to a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Brazilian has cleared the way for the transfer to be agreed between the two clubs, as he is very keen to ensure he gets regular game time leading up to next year’s World Cup, so that he can catch the eye of Carlo Ancelotti.
The report adds that it is only a matter of time before the clubs agree on a package of around €70m (£60.5m), including bonuses, with the deal not expected to drag on too long.

Pep Guardiola has to give a green light to Savinho’s move
The update from Globo Esporte says that Tottenham kicked off talks over a deal for the 21-year-old last week, and it did not take long for the winger to make his mind up.
Interestingly, it is explained that all that is missing right now is Pep Guardiola’s blessing, which will decide whether Savinho completes a move to N17.
