Four clubs with favourable home fixtures – Chelsea, AFC Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa – supply a combined nine players in the best team for Gameweek 9.
Chelsea pair Cole Palmer (£9.8m) and Morgan Rogers (£8.0m) face Manchester United in the first match of the Gameweek on Saturday.
Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier (£6.4m) and Antonio Silva (£5.0m) host Leeds United, while Spurs’ Mohammed Kudus (£6.5m) and Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.9m) play Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, there’s a triple-up on Aston Villa for their match against Fulham on Saturday night, with the in-form Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) and Johan Manzambi (£6.1m) joined by goalkeeper Zion Suzuki (£5.0m).
Zion Suzuki (Aston Villa) £5.0m
The Villa ‘keeper has amassed 30 points – eight more than any of their defenders – due to his potential for save points. Suzuki faces a Fulham side who have struggled on the road, scoring only twice in four away matches.
Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland) £5.4m
Playing as a centre-back, the Sunderland defender has collected two defensive contribution (DC) points in four of his seven starts. Mukiele visits a Coventry City side who have failed to score in five of their eight matches in 2026/27.
Antonio Silva (Bournemouth) £5.0m
Silva is selected ahead of his fellow Bournemouth centre-back James Hill (£5.5m) due to his potential at both ends of the pitch. The Portuguese has the edge by 12 DC points to 10 this season, while Silva also leads Hill by six headed shots from set-pieces to zero.
Jan Paul van Hecke (Spurs) £4.9m
Spurs’ centre-back has amassed 36 points across the last six Gameweeks thanks to his multiple routes to returns. Van Hecke has scored once, picked up three clean sheets and earned six DC points in that spell.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £9.8m
Although he was sent off against Spurs last weekend, Palmer served his one-match ban against Liverpool in the EFL Cup in midweek, so he is available for Gameweek 9. His 25 shots and 17 chances created are both team-leading totals, and when it comes to being involved in big chances – situations where a player is expected to score – he leads his team-mate Rogers by eight to five.
Morgan Rogers (Chelsea) £8.0m
Rogers played as a forward in the absence of the injured Joao Pedro (£7.8m) last weekend. Rogers has scored or assisted in five of his eight league appearances for Chelsea and now faces a Man Utd side who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
Mohammed Kudus (Spurs) £6.5m
The winger gets picked ahead of set-piece taker Mateus Fernandes (£5.6m) against Palace due to his greater goal threat. Since making his first start of 2026/27 in Gameweek 6, Kudus’s six shots and four shots in the box both rank second for Spurs in those three matches.
Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth) £6.4m
Bournemouth’s in-form star has earned a massive 693,000+ transfers in, over half a million more than any other midfielder in the Gameweek. Tavernier has climbed to second in his position in Fantasy, scoring five goals and totalling 52 points.
Johan Manzambi (Aston Villa) £6.1m
Two goals, two assists and 30 points in his four starts for Villa show why Manzambi can be a budget gem in Fantasy. With a very favourable schedule coming up, his ownership of just 4.9 per cent looks likely to climb.
Erling Haaland (Man City) £15.8m
The Manchester City forward’s relentless form is making the captaincy decision a very straightforward one right now. Ahead of his home match against Brighton & Hove Albion, Haaland has scored in seven successive Gameweeks to top the player standings on 66 points.
Nicolas Jackson (Aston Villa) £6.8m
