Some famous faces could be seen enjoying their last away day of the season on Saturday as Sheffield United rounded off a disappointing season on a high note at Derby County. The Blades’ 2-1 win saw them reach 60 points for the season.
That, boss Chris Wilder insisted, represented a respectable total considering their early-season struggles but the hope is for better next time around. But despite the mass frustrations, the away end at Pride Park was in fine voice.
The highlight was probably a lengthy chant teasing both Derby’s promotion failure and Tottenham Hotspur’s potential relegation at the same time. And as is tradition on the final day of the season, there was plenty of fancy dress in the away end too.
