Tottenham manager Igor Tudor is under pressure after four defeats from four since taking over from Thomas Frank, and David Ornstein has now shared his verdict on his future.

Spurs currently find themselves sitting in 16th position in the Premier League table, just one point above the drop zone with nine games to play. The threat of relegation is becoming serious, and there have been calls to sack Tudor just four games into his tenure.

It's no surprise that there have been suggestions of potentially sacking Tudor already, as Spurs simply have to avoid being relegated from the Premier League.

It's clearly not working under him, and he received further criticism for their performance in the Champions League earlier this week, with there being plenty of controversy around his decision to start Antonin Kinsky before subbing him after 15 minutes.

David Ornstein: Tudor Sack Verdict at Tottenham

Speaking on The Athletic's podcast, Ornstein has shared his verdict on the future of Tottenham manager Tudor. The respected reporter believes that he will be stunned if he manages to make it until the end of the season, hinting that he might be sacked long before then.

"So if they change him in the next days or weeks, whether they stay up or go dow, they attempted to do something different. They recognised it was a mistake. It wasn't working, and whether it was the vibesman, that view from the lane has talked about so much, and somebody, a figurehead, with real Tottenham connection, whether that person coached on the training ground or not, to get somebody in to try and lift the atmosphere. Arm around the shoulder, give the players and staff a bit of love, and try and just scrape their way through. But the extent they went to bring him in, and the cost it would incur to get rid of him. No, no, no. The cost of going down is much more expensive than firing Tudor. So the way things are going, I'd be stunned if they see out of the season with him."

Although Ornstein is reporting from more of an opinion perspective than information, he has hinted that the costs of sacking Tudor won't be a problem for Spurs. The north London club understand that being relegated will cost them a lot more than that, and if they have to make that decision, they might not hesitate to do so.

Tottenham Could Be Forced Into Decision

It's certainly not an easy game approaching for Tottenham as they prepare to travel to Liverpool this weekend, but there's surely a lot of pressure on Tudor to get a result.

The Spurs hierarchy might not be looking for Tottenham to secure all three points, or even get a draw, but they will absolutely need to see an improvement in terms of performance.

If Spurs produce a strong display that shows plenty of fight and it's a tight game, then they might consider keeping him in charge.

If Spurs show very little and are beaten by Liverpool comfortably, then they could be forced into making the decision to sack Tudor earlier than they expected.
