Thomas Frank has shared what he admires most about Randal Kolo Muani at Tottenham, describing the forward as a very good footballer with qualities that stand out in his system.
Tottenham Hotspur put up one of their finest displays of the season last time out in the Champions League against Copenhagen.
Spurs put four past the Danish outfit, the highest number of goals they have scored in a single match under Frank.
However, consistency has been one of the main issues with this Tottenham side, and that is something Frank will be looking to address as the campaign continues.
Thomas Frank praises Randal Kolo Muani for his link-up play at Tottenham
Spurs have had to deal with several injuries, but one player, Randal Kolo Muani, has been making a slow yet steady return to full fitness, and Thomas Frank is clearly pleased with him.
Speaking to Football London ahead of the clash against Manchester United, Frank provided an update on Muani’s fitness and explained what he likes most about his game.
He said: “[He needs] sharpness because fitness-wise he is fit to start and play, but to do it at the highest possible intensity throughout the 90 mins, I don’t think he is there yet. But I think it was a very promising game against Copenhagen, and I think he is on the right track.
