Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly plotting a move for two of Brentford’s star men this summer, and Thomas Frank has now sent a clear message on what the North London club will have to do to sign the pair.
Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware that a number of reports over the last few months have credited Tottenham with a keen interest in Bryan Mbeumo.
The versatile forward has had another outstanding campaign, having found the back of the net 18 times this season but he is not the only Brentford striker who could be on the move this summer.
His strike partner, Yoane Wissa, is also expected to attract offers this summer, and it was previously reported that Spurs have already spoken to Brentford about a deal for Wissa.
Thomas Frank makes an admission about Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo’s futures
Frank has now confessed that both Tottenham Hotspur targets could leave the West London club this summer, pointing out that the Bees have always been a selling club.
However, the Danish coach made it clear that it will take a sizable bid to prise either player away, given how they have developed over the last couple of years.
When asked about the speculation over Wisse and Mbeumo, Frank told Sky Sports: “I would like them to stay. I would like all of the best players to stay at the club. We all know that we are a selling club, but they are that good that they need to be at a very good club. But they will need to pay a lot of money for what they get.

“They’ve got quality, both of them. Both of them have developed massively. Bryyan has been here six years. He has definitely done everything he can and added layers to his game every single season, and he is performing at a top level. Both of them are performing at a top level.”
How much would Tottenham have to pay for Mbeumo?
Out of the two strikers, it is Bryan Mbeumo who has been much more heavily linked with a move to Tottenham, and one would assume he is the player that Spurs are more likely to move for this summer.
It was reported back in February by Football Insider that it would take an offer of over £50m to prise Mbeumo away from Brentford.
