Tottenham may allow Thomas Frank the winter period to regain positive momentum.
Spurs were beaten 3-0 by Nottingham Forest away from home in another Premier League defeat on Sunday, which has caused even more concern among the Lilywhites’ fanbase.
Following the loss, Tottenham have slipped to 11th in the league standings, and hopes of finishing in a European spot are fading.
Frank has been under pressure at Tottenham, with supporters particularly unhappy with the style of play that’s currently on show at N17.
However, White has relayed some information that suggests Frank will remain as Spurs boss for now, with Alex Crook sharing his thoughts on that.

Thomas Frank will be backed by Tottenham hierarchy
Tottenham want to make big signings in the January transfer window, with Antoine Semenyo one player whose name keeps cropping up.
Joe Lewis and Co. need to be able to trust Frank heading into a very important market that could make or break Spurs’ season, which Crook has now suggested will happen.
While speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday, Crook said he has sympathy for the situation Frank finds himself in as he responded to White’s update.
White said: “There are reports circulating that Thomas Frank has been given the backing of the Spurs hierarchy following discussions at the top of the club. Why does he need their backing?”
Crook responded: “Well, there’s been a lot of noise from supporters, and their home form has been poor. They were hammered by Forest at the weekend, so the hierarchy wants to settle things down.
“I feel for Thomas Frank because he’s inherited a team that finished 17th last season, and it’s largely the same group of players. They don’t have the weaponry to challenge for the top four.“
Last season’s league finish under Ange Postecoglou was discussed widely, but it’s hard to keep using it as an excuse for the current Spurs head coach.
Frank needs to find the spark at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Tottenham’s home record this season hasn’t been good enough, as away form has most likely kept Frank in a job.
Frank needs to put all his energy into finding a solution for results on home turf.
If the Dane truly wants success in N17, then it will only come from making the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a fortress.
He needs to stop being timid with his tactical setups and have the Lilywhites on the front foot in home matches, regardless of the opposition.
Frank is not a popular man within the Tottenham fanbase at the moment, and he desperately needs to turn things around regardless of the backing from the board.
