Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank's football has been branded 'unwatchable' by leading writer Dan Kilpatrick - with the Dane coming under intense pressure in north London for their shocking performances.

Tottenham appointed Frank in the summer after some incredible results achieved at Brentford, having taken the Bees into the top half twice and just two points from European football in the 2022/23 campaign.

However, he's been unable to replicate that at Spurs, and that's seen him come under pressure, which Kilpatrick believes could see him ousted from the hot seat before long.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast, Kilpatrick claimed that he 'doesn't see a future' for Frank in north London, owing to months of poor performances that he deemed as unwatchable.

The Athletic deputy news editor said: "I don't see a future for [Thomas] Frank at Spurs, to be honest with you.

"He hasn't really shown anything since the Manchester City game early in the season - when they won 2-0 at the Etihad - to impress me and suggest that he's able to scale up and be a Tottenham manager.

"Perhaps that's a bit harsh. Obviously, he did some really good work at Brentford. The list of players he has transformed there is a long one, and some of the names we are all familiar with - Mbeumo, Wissa, Ollie Watkins.

"Look, he's obviously got something about him, but you know, so far at Spurs, the football has been nearly unwatchable. Honestly, it's been that bad at times. So I think if this is to work for Frank and Spurs, he needs to change. He needs to be more proactive."

Kilpatrick has a point. Tottenham have only won seven games from 21 in the Premier League this season, though five of those came in the first nine. Two wins in 12 is not good enough for one of the 'Big Six' clubs in the division.

Tottenham's Shambolic Home Record Means Thomas Frank Could Leave Soon

Spurs have won just two Premier League games from ten on home turf this season, against newly-promoted Burnley and Frank's former side Brentford - failing to beat the likes of Bournemouth, Wolves, Fulham and Sunderland.

Their away form has been decent with five wins from 11 on the road, but more will be needed in the capital if they are to secure European football.

Guaranteed qualification is only six points away, albeit in a more congested table than usual, and so it's not out of the question that Spurs do end up in continental competition next season.

But Frank's home record has been laid bare for all to see and that must be improved on quickly if he is to stay in the role.
