The new dates and times for three of Tottenham’s Premier League fixtures for December have been announced.
Spurs have made a solid start to the Premier League season, sitting third in the table after seven league games.
However, the fixtures now get really tricky, with Tottenham facing a month of death from mid-October to mid-November.
The Lilywhites are set to face Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal within a space of a few weeks in what will be a real acid test for Thomas Frank’s men.
New Premier League schedule announced for Tottenham’s December clashes
The difficulty of the fixtures eases a little for Spurs following their North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium on November 23.
However, they do have a clash at home against the reigning Champions Liverpool in mid-December, and it is a fixture that they lost heavily last season.
Spurs have now discovered the new date and timing for that clash against the Reds, and also their fixtures against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest earlier in the month.
MORE SPURS STORIES
However, Tottenham supporters are set to be frustrated once again by the decision to hold an away fixture at St James’ Park at 8:15 pm on a Tuesday night. The fixture is likely to run well past 10 pm, leaving away fans with difficult travel back to London ahead of work on Wednesday morning.
Ange Postecoglou reunion appears unlikely for Spurs
When Postecoglou was confirmed as Nottingham Forest boss last month, Tottenham fans would have earmarked 14 December on their calendar, as that is when they travel up to City Ground to take on their former boss and his new side.
However, things have not gone according to plan at Forest for the Australian, who is winless from his first seven games in charge.
