Real Sociedad legend Bixio Gorriz has claimed that Takefusa Kubo could be on his way out of the club in the near future.

The Japanese International has been heavily linked with Tottenham, and he believes that an offer of around €60 million would be too good to turn down for the Spanish club.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to pay up in the coming months.

Spurs could use Takefusa Kubo

They could use more creativity and technical ability in the final third, and the Japanese international could be the ideal fit for them. He is capable of slotting into multiple attacking roles, and his versatility will be a bonus. Kubo can play on either flank, as well as a number ten.

€60 million is a lot of money, and it will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to negotiate a more reasonable deal for the player. There is no doubt that he is a talented player with a bright future, but the asking price seems quite steep.

Gorriz feels that Kubo is a great player, and he is committed to the project at the Spanish club. However, a lucrative offer might be difficult to turn down.

“Kubo is a very important player for Real Sociedad , and what he has to do is perform at his best here”.

He added that the player’s departure might be “inevitable” given that he is a ” great player .”

“There’s no debate here, I mean, if Tottenham pays 60 million , it’s a very good offer, and the shame is that we won’t get the full amount, but only half ,” he stated on COPE.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few months. The opportunity to play in England could be an exciting one for the 24-year-old. It could be the ideal step in his career, and he would get to improve further by competing at a higher level.
