Tottenham have been criticised after a new reveal ahead of the Premier League season.

Thomas Frank will take Tottenham back into the Champions League after replacing Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked earlier this month.

The off-season is crucial, with Spurs needing to add several high-profile signings to compete for the highest honours yet again.

Those additions will likely be modelling the new kits when they are unveiled as Lilywhites players.

Tottenham slammed after away kit reveal

Tottenham revealed their new away kit for the 2025-26 campaign to much acclaim, with a sleek black strip befitting of their return to Europe’s elite.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The new Tottenham home kit has been blasted by supporters, but there can be no complaints over the style of the newly-launched away.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire took to his personal X account (26 June) to slam the Lilywhites for the pricing of the ‘elite’ version of the new shirt, with all the bells and whistles attached.

He said: “Just £151 if you want the pitch ready Spurs away shirt with all the trimmings…but you do get free delivery.”

Tottenham should look after its supporters, not rip them off

It is the way that football is going at the moment, always pricing out the supporters who are the lifeblood of the club.

Something needs to change, the pricing is extortionate, the fans already pay enough money for their season tickets, food and beverages at the match and other expenses related.

They should be able to purchase the version that the likes of Dominic Solanke and James Maddison are wearing without being massively out of pocket; it is not like they need to charge those prices, given the revenues that they make.

Obviously, it is not directly Daniel Levy‘s fault, as it is the going rate for the ‘elite’ shirts at the moment, but it is not fair on those who turn up and support their team week in, week out, whatever the weather.

Modern football and the Premier League are all about profit and not concerned about the impact that their decisions have on the fans, and that could come back to bite them in the future.

Levy has had supporters protesting about his ownership recently, which dissipated after the Europa League win to an extent, but it could quite easily return if fans do not see a return on their investment on the pitch.
