Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Real Sociedad attacker Takefusa Kubo.

The Japanese International has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past as well, but it seems that Tottenham are looking to sign him in the coming weeks.

According to a report from Fichajes, they believe that he would be the ideal acquisition for the club, and they are very serious about securing his services.

The player will cost around €60 million because of a release clause in his contract. The report further claims that Real Madrid is due to receive 50% of the fee from his sale, which could see them bank around €30 million in January.

Kubo could be a superb addition

Kubo has done quite well for the La Liga outfit, and he will look to prove himself in the Premier League. If the move goes through. Tottenham need more creativity and cutting-edge in the final third, and signing the versatile Japanese International could be ideal. He can operate centrally as well as on the flanks. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and find the back of the net as well.

The player is entering the peak of his career, and this could be the right time for him to compete at a higher level. Moving to the Premier League could bring out the best in him. Regular football in England could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his potential.
