Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen.
The England International has been outstanding for West Ham, and he has the quality to thrive at a bigger club. According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in securing his signature.
However, he is considered an untouchable asset by the London club, and they are unwilling to sanction his departure. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with a lucrative proposal to tempt them.
West Ham not ready to sell Jarrod Bowen
Pete O’Rourke said: “He’s probably the one and only untouchable player in that squad right now.
“I think most other players that are in that squad would be for sale at the right price as well, but Bowen is the heartbeat of that West Ham team.
“They need to keep him and Jarrod will be looking to build his team around him. He’s on a long-term contract until 2030, so it’s not like West Ham are under any real pressure to sell Jarrod Bowen as well.
“But, no surprise that clubs will be looking at him. Tottenham, Liverpool because even in that struggling side, he still scores goals and he’s a proven Premier League player.”
They need more quality on the flanks, and the 28-year-old would be the ideal addition. He will add goals, creativity, and unpredictability to the side.
He could be tempted to join him as well. He will want to compete at the highest level and prove himself in the UEFA Champions League. Spurs could provide him with that platform.
Bowen could improve Spurs
Bowen is a reliable performer in the Premier League, and he could hit the ground running at the North London club. He could transform them in the attack. However, the deal will be quite complicated. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
Bowen scored 13 goals and picked up 10 assists in the league last season, for a team that finished close to the relegation zone. His numbers could improve when he is playing on a better team alongside quality players. He could be a game-changer for Spurs if they manage to sign him.
