Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move to bolster their attack by signing Brentford star Kevin Schade, according to Caught Offside.

Spurs strengthened their forward options in the summer with the arrivals of Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani but so far have struggled massively and currently sit 14th in the Premier League with just 27 points from their 22 games.

That has seen the pressure grow on manager Thomas Frank's future with the club despite only arriving in the summer, but the club are also keen to add more firepower to their squad to climb up the table, and a familiar face has emerged as a target.

Tottenham Want to Sign Kevin Schade

Schade, who has been praised for his incredible speed as one of the fastest players in the Premier League, has had a fantastic season so far for Brentford, netting six goals and registering three assists in 21 appearances so far for Keith Andrews' side.

Those performances have alerted several top clubs to his quality, and Tottenham are among the clubs who have registered an interest in the German for a potential 2026 transfer.

The Bees have absolutely no intention of selling the 24-year-old in mid-season after losing Yoanne Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo last summer, but they are aware of the interest in the forward and their stance could change in the summer depending on them receiving a big bid.

It's understood the Germany international is currently valued at between £43-52m, and Spurs could look to use the fact that Frank was the man to bring him to the Premier League initially as a way to gain an advantage, should he remain in charge in north London.

Schade Could Be Ready to Explode

Spurs' attack is full of players who are currently seemingly on the verge of exploding into superstardom, and Schade would be another who fits that bill.

Players like Xavi Simons and Kudus have performed well at other clubs with smaller expectations, but their performances so far with Tottenham have been relatively underwhelming. A deal for Schade, especially at that price tag, would bring the same types of risks and not necessarily be an upgrade on what they already have.

However, if the deal was done, it would provide a clearly talented player with a huge platform to step up and become a hero, which is something Tottenham are desperate for since the departures of Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.
