Tottenham are among a host of Premier League clubs considering a summer move for Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga, journalist Graeme Bailey has claimed.

The Lilywhites have reportedly earmarked the Swedish international as a potential reinforcement on the wing and are among Elanga’s growing list of admirers.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle have also been watching the ex-Manchester United forward closely amid his strong season at the City Ground.

Elanga was a key part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this term and helped Forest qualify for European football for the first time since the 1995/96 season.

Forest unwilling to sell the Swedish forward

According to Bailey, Forest are determined to keep hold of Elanga ahead of their return to continental football next season and would only entertain offers in excess of £60m this summer.

Forest reportedly believe the 23-year-old is one of the top wingers in the Premier League and, should any club come knocking, they would demand a potential club-record fee.

Elanga, praised as ‘the fastest player in the Premier League’, joined Forest from Man United in 2023 and has been a revelation since, registering 33 goal contributions in 82 appearances.

The Sweden international enjoyed a career-best season in the English top-flight this term, scoring six goals and providing 11 assists in 38 appearances.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Elanga scored four goals in 55 games for Man United.

Tottenham are now close to appointing Brentford boss Thomas Frank as their new manager, having reached an agreement over personal terms with the Dane.

Frank is now set to become the fourth permanent Spurs boss in as many years and will succeed Ange Postecoglou, who was relieved of his duties last week.
