Tottenham are set to play host to Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round.

Villa secured a 2-1 win against Spurs earlier in the season as an Emi Buendia goal made the difference at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The likes of Mohammed Kudus were slammed against Villa in what was a hugely frustrating performance after going ahead in North London.

Thomas Frank has come under further pressure since, with the sack potentially looming at Tottenham after recent results and performances.

The Dane will hope he will be in charge for the upcoming FA Cup clash against the Villans, but home supporters already have frustrations to vent.

Tottenham season ticket holders move forced vs Aston Villa

Spurs lost to Nottingham Forest last time around in the Premier League, and things don’t look likely to get easier in the coming weeks.

The festive period will see the N17 outfit face the likes of Liverpool and Crystal Palace, before the new year brings match-ups with Brentford, Sunderland and Bournemouth.

The FA Cup could hand the Lilywhites much-needed respite from the Premier League, with a home tie against Aston Villa drawn for the third round.

The Midlands side have opted to take up the full 9000 available allocation, an increased lot that is allowed in the tournament in the early rounds.

Tottenham announced this news on 15 December, revealing that North Stand season ticket holders will be unable to purchase their usual seats for the clash.

Those who sit in blocks 420-424, 515-519, 112, 419, 514 and 520 will be required to move and decide on an alternative seat by 18 December.

With a frustrating atmosphere already surrounding White Heart Lane, this development is unlikely to help improve things for fans.

Tottenham fans right to be annoyed by ticket news

There appears to be very little the Lilywhites can do besides ask supporters to move after offering 17 per cent of the stadium to Villa.

The claret and blue travel in superb numbers and will very likely sell out that increased allocation with relative ease.

That won’t really make any affected supporter feel better about being forced out of their own seats because they’ve been taken by away fans.

Their frustration will only be increased by the current state of Spurs under Frank, especially if they go on to lose in the FA Cup third round as well.
