Tottenham Hotspur have been ravaged by injuries in the 2025/26 season, not unlike they were during the 2024/25 season too.
Former Spurs boss Thomas Frank had to deal with a treatment room that was fit to bursting, with the Dane able to name a full XI of players missing at times.
New interim head coach Igor Tudor has inherited that difficult situation, with a number of stars no closer to returning to the first-team. After a humbling 4-1 defeat at the hands of north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday in his first game in charge, Tudor will be looking for any ray of light as he prepares the team for the short trip to Fulham on Sunday.
With Spurs just four points above the Premier League relegation zone, they need to pick up results and quickly if they are to avoid the unthinkable and fall through the trap door into the Championship.
Thankfully for Tudor, he should have a few extra players to choose from when he names his starting lineup for the clash at Craven Cottage this weekend.
While there are plenty of players on the long-term injured list, some of the shorter-term casualties are closing in on a return, with Tudor admitting when asked if any will be back at the weekend: "Yeah, probably two of them, we hope". Here GIVEMESPORT takes a look at the situation.
Pedro Porro Looks Set To Return For Tottenham
Pedro Porro is one of the two players who looks set to hand the Croatian a boost by being available for the Fulham clash.
The Spaniard has been missing since the end of January when he picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor. Prior to that he had played a part in every single Premier League game of the season and had started every Champions League match too.
There was a chance he would return for the North London Derby, but that was not the case and now it looks like the Fulham clash will see him back on the field.
Kevin Danso Hands Igor Tudor A Timely Boost
Kevin Danso is likely to be the other one who makes his return to action against the Whites this weekend.
The Austrian has often filled in when either Cristian Romero or Micky van de Ven have been absent, but has also been missing since that Burnley draw, having picked up a toe injury.
With Romero suspended following a silly red card against Manchester United, Danso's absence has been felt. His return this weekend will free up Joao Palhinha to return to his midfield berth, with the Portuguese having to fill in in the back three Tudor favours for the clash with Arsenal.
What Of Tottenham's Other Injured Stars?
Destiny Udogie could be the next player back in action, as we are now in week three of former boss Thomas Frank's statement that he would be out for "four to five weeks" with a hamstring injury. He is likely to miss the next two games but could return for the Liverpool clash on March 15.
Lucas Bergvall is not far away from a return to action following surgery on his ankle injury, but it is likely to be another month before we see him again. After the March international break is the likely date for his return to action. Reports in Sweden have said that his rehabilitation is 'going in the right direction'.
After the March international break is when Spurs fans should see Mohammed Kudus again too, following his hamstring injury.
