Tottenham Hotspur say they are in regular contact with Manor Solomon after it emerged the winger is stuck in Israel and unable to return to the UK as things currently stand. The 25-year-old, who impressed while on loan at Leeds United last season, had returned to his homeland last week to marry his long-term partner Dana Voshina.
The couple's wedding passed off with no problems, but the married couple are unable to travel out of the country after a ban on all civilian flights was put in place by the Israel military.
Following an exchange in airborne attacks between Israel and Iran last week and amid growing concerns regarding the conflict between the two parties, there has been concern in many quarters regarding the escalating issue in the region. Solomon is not due to report back for pre-season training at Tottenham for another two weeks, but had planned on flying back to London this week.
Speaking about Solomon's situation, a Tottenham spokesperson said; "We are constantly in regular dialogue with all our players regarding their wellbeing and welfare."
