Hot on the heels of the launch of its new ‘Heritage’ apparel collection earlier this month, Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has launched a limited-edition luxury six-piece knitwear collection with heritage British brand John Smedley.

Crafted in the brand’s historic Lea Mills factory in Derbyshire, which was founded in 1784, the capsule collection consists of four 100% Merino wool pieces, including a long-sleeved polo, a ¼ zip neck jumper, a crew neck and a V-neck knit, all in navy or grey options.

Each piece comes with Spurs’ club crest – a cockerel standing on a football – in a tonal shade on the chest, with retail prices ranging from £225 - £275.

The four knits are complemented by a lambswool beanie (£80) and a lambswool scarf (£140), designed to keep fans of the 1882-founded football club warm on the terraces this winter.

The collection is described as “highlighting the club’s commitment to providing fans with designs that last the test of time” as well as “introducing slow ethical fashion pieces to fans’ wardrobes”.

Launched against the backdrop of Walthamstow Wetlands, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium visible in the distance, the accompanying shoot features club legends Ledley King and Michael Dawson doing their best to model the collection, which is now available exclusively on the official Spurs online shop.
