Tottenham Hotspur fans will be dancing long into the night on Wednesday in Germany, after their 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt secured last 16 football in the Champions League - though one star may have played his last game for the club on the night.

Spurs won 2-0 with a goal in each half to massively alleviate the pressure on boss Thomas Frank, and give fans something to look forward to in the second half of the season after some dismal Premier League form.

But for Randal Kolo Muani, it could be the end of his spell - with Spurs having previously made the decision to 'dump' him from his loan spell.

Report: Spurs 'Dump' Kolo Muani Despite Champions League Heroics

The report by Tuttosport states that Juventus know full well that their time is running out to sign Kolo Muani in the transfer market.

It's been quite a hectic week for the French striker. Reports suggested earlier in the week that Juventus were keen to have him on loan after his awful form in north London, before he was involved in a car crash alongside teammate Wilson Odobert, and then he scored the opener against former side Eintracht Frankfurt to see Tottenham finish fourth in the Champions League's new league phase table.

However, that doesn't mean that Kolo Muani will be a part of Thomas Frank's long-term plans. As such, the report states that Juventus are still interested, and calls on Tuesday suggested that a deal could still happen.

Kolo Muani has had difficulty establishing himself in north London, with Spurs seeking more striking support as a result. Furthermore, Juve's talks with Kolo Muani's representatives have opened the same door for a move to Turin.

There is a desire to move the World Cup finalist on from London, with Spurs 'dumping' the striker. They would be happy to terminate his loan spell immediately, ending his tough period in England.

Kolo Muani Has Only Scored Against His Former Sides This Season

Kolo Muani has yet to score on English soil for Tottenham - though he does have three goals in all competitions.

Incredibly, he has only scored goals against his current side and his former sides. A brace against Paris Saint-Germain saw the £210,000-a-week star score against his parent club twice in a 5-3 loss earlier in this season's group stage.

And, having scored on Wednesday night away in Frankfurt, it means he has yet to score in England. Spurs may be best off keeping him to notch on their Champions League adventures before resting the striker on domestic soil if his record is anything to go by.
