Tottenham Hotspur have enquired about the availability of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Jean-Matteo Bahoya, who has also been the subject of interest from Hull City in recent days, according to TEAMtalk.
Bahoya impressed for Frankfurt last season in the Bundesliga, netting three goals and providing four assists in just 1,329 minutes. This form has prompted a number of clubs to take a look at the Frenchman, who is renowned for his frightening pace, including Spurs and Hull.
The Tigers reportedly made an approach for Bahoya late last week, with several sources indicating that the German club and the Yorkshire outfit reached an agreement on a fee.
However, the player himself is yet to give the move to the MKM Stadium the green light, as Tottenham continue to explore a deal in the background.

Spurs have been perhaps the most active Premier League club in the market this summer, adding eight players to Roberto De Zerbi's ranks. The recent signings of Savinho and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City have taken their total spending in this window to almost £400 million, and they don't appear to be done yet.
With Marmoush expected to be deployed largely as a central striker, and Savinho off the right, De Zerbi still has a vacancy on the left in his starting eleven, particularly while Xavi Simons recovers from his ACL injury.
TEAMtalk suggest that Tottenham have approached Frankfurt regarding Bahoya's availability, with the youngster potentially seen as a viable option for them off the left. Spurs have been monitoring the 21-year-old all summer, and might be prepared to act on their interest by making a move for him at the eleventh hour.
Hull were said to be the frontrunners to land Bahoya, but reluctance from the player's camp to commit to the newly promoted side has given the North Londoners hope in their pursuit of him.

Interestingly, Bahoya profiles as more of a creative player than a goal threat at this stage of his career. His underlying shot and expected goals numbers are somewhat underwhelming, but he is effective at creating chances for his teammates.
He's also an exceptional dribbler, beating his opponents using his immaculate close control and speed. The Frenchman is actually the fastest-ever recorded player in the Bundesliga, reaching speeds of 37.16km/h during the 2024-25 campaign.
If he can generate more shots from the dribbles he completes, then he'll develop into a dangerous forward at the top level.
However, he's been a bit-part player for Frankfurt so far in his career, so he'd likely need to fill a developmental role if he were to make the switch to North London.
